Formaggio is a short-haired man of athletic build and medium height.

Formaggio wears a mesh shirt with various hand warmers, over which he wears a leather jacket decorated with rivets on the shoulders. He also wears a pair of dark trousers.

Formaggio gives the impression of a very relaxed person. Unlike most pursuing killers, Formaggio openly gets to know Narancia, tries to chat and laughs at his own jokes. In the TV anime adaptation, this side of him expands, showing how he behaves in exactly the same way towards his teammate Pesci, makes a dark joke, invites several teammates to watch a football match and taunts Illuso in return when he is mocked. His relaxed attitude is accentuated by a verbal tic, as he regularly expresses his bored resignation to bad circumstances by saying "Nothing can be done" (), however, Formaggio focuses more during the fight and when he is under pressure

Like other assassins, Formaggio barely cares about human life and torments his enemies quite sadistically. For example, he has no problem setting a shrunken Locust on a spider. Despite this, Formaggio also has some standards expressing that he doesn't really want to see someone being eaten alive by a spider, and is horrified by the gruesome death of Sherbet

Formaggio possesses the Little Feet stand, a human-like stand that allows him to shrink himself or other objects and people.
