In a snap of a finger, Nine stepped out through the Ghost Hill portal with the Paradox Prism. Sonic looked down in defeat, wondering how all this came to happen. Well, he knew it, but he didn't want to believe it was his fault. It was, it was his fault that he and Shadow were here in the first place. His stupid trust issues wanted to believe in Nine, but his own trust betrayed him just like Nine did. He didn't even bother to acknowledge Shadow at that moment, knowing that he would eventually be scolded.
