Bonkers D. Bobcat

Bonkers D. Bobcat is a former Toon star at WackyToon Studios. After his show got abruptly cancelled, he finds himself and the cast of his show out of work. After saving Donald Duck from a mugger, he was hired as a police officer working in the Toon Division for the Hollywood Police Department, specializing in cases involving Toons.

Bonkers is not the brightest or the most thinking cop in the station. Though Bonkers means well, he usually messes up cases for his fellow officers due to his lack of experience in law enforcement and his wild, exaggerated, cartoony nature. He is not good at logical police thinking because he is a Toon.

Bonkers is a cartoon anthropomorphic spotted orange bobcat with a red nose. He has antenna-like ears, and has black spots on his fur, as well as black stripes on his short tail. As a police officer, he wears a blue police uniform top, with a black tie and a gold badge. He wears a matching blue police cap that also has a badge emblem on it. As a cartoon animal, he doesn't wear pants or shoes.

Bonkers is a Toon, and one that specialized in comedy, so he has the near-immortality and spontaneous nature of a comedic cartoon character. His biggest asset as a police officer is he extensive knowledge of Toons and Toon behavior, making him invaluable for the Toon division of the police force despite his lack of following proper procedure.

Bonkers' former co-stars include his love interest and sometimes girlfirend, Fawn Deer. Another former co-star is Jitters A. Dog, who Bonkers is oblivious that Jitters hates him. His best friend and former stunt double is Fall-Apart Rabbit, who is very absent minded. Bonkers' pet is a cartoon dog that speaks in horn beeps. Bonkers' partner in the Toon Division is Lucky Piquel, a mustachioed grumpy non-Toon human who finds Bonkers both annoying and endearing. Another partner is Miranda Wright, a blonde non-Toon human and a much more mellow fellow officer.
