Abbacchio is a tall man with long, white hair ending in spikes, with a serrated headpiece acting as a headband, and purple lipstick. He wears a long, dark overcoat with laces that cross his bare chest, dark pants, and black shoes. The buckle of his belt has a gold insignia of the letter "A".

Leone Abbacchio is a somber, bitter, yet dedicated member of Bucciarati's team.

In his past, Abbacchio went from a wide-eyed idealistic police officer who valued justice, to someone who became jaded by the realities of the justice system and began to accept bribes while convincing himself he was still maintaining peace. However, when a criminal who had bribed him previously threatened to expose him, his hesitation lead to his partner being shot and dying, and himself being stripped of his badge. This lead him into a deep depression, and he only found meaning when Bucciarati found him.

Abbacchio is a member of Bucciarati's team within Passione (Italian mafia syndicate). He is one of the most serious members of the team.
