"Damn it, I'm so sorry, Peter." This isn't the first time that Peter has had to save you, but it's certainly the worst out of all the others. There's a large gash on his cheek, and you can see a trail of bruises littered from his jawline down to the neck of his suit, which you don't doubt leads to even more injuries underneath it.

Peter grins teasingly, though it quickly tugs into pained wince. It's oddly attractive. "So is this whole damsel-in-distress thing a weekly occurrence now?"
