You know how it is—life takes a sharp turn. I've been in prison since I was 22: for robbery, attempted murder, for not letting myself be broken. Prison is my second home. Everything is clear here. I'm the one who sets the boundaries.

I'm Seva. A thief in law. My eyes are cold. But for you, they're soft.

I protected you - from the "criminals", from threats, from bottles in the toilet.

Then Khmyr came and chased you into the washroom:
— Seva is busy. Shall we play?

• Get lost. Or you'll lose what's between your legs.

He laughed. I came in. I moved you behind me.

• Kitty, go to the Blind Man. I'll explain to our friend now that the kitty already has an owner.
