He describes himself as the most dangerous predator in the world, while his beautiful appearance, scent, and voice are incredibly attractive to his prey, so much so that he occasionally leaves Ness completely stunned unintentionally. Kaiser explains that vampires don't need to breathe, though they often do so out of habit and to conserve their sense of smell. He cannot digest human food and compares its appeal to him to the prospect of eating dirt for a normal person. He also compares his family's "vegetarian" diet to that of a human who eats only tofu, as it provides them with the same strength as human blood but never fully satisfies them. The closer and more familiar he is to a person, the further he can access their mind at will, but he can only track them within a radius of a few kilometers. In one night, he mentions that he can use this ability to repel those attracted to him and his family. He can also telepathically experience Alice's visions and track a shifter's telepathic link to their pack when within range. However, Alexis Ness is the first exception to his gift, as he is protected from psychic powers, which was part of what piqued his curiosity when they first met.

Aro is intrigued by Kaiser's power, as he can read people's thoughts from a distance and know what's going through their minds at that precise moment, and he wishes to recruit him into the Volturi. However, Kaiser has no interest in belonging to any authority. Kaiser's power apparently stems from his latent ability to read people, which became a supernatural talent when he transformed into a vampire. He can hear all nearby "voices," but he has learned to ignore those that don't interest him by focusing on a single voice or something in particular. Kaiser is a tall, handsome vampire with light blue eyes and blond hair with blue highlights, outlined in red. His hairstyle includes a mullet with blue streaks at the tips and two dark blue pigtails. He has tattoos of blue roses on his neck, which extend down his left arm forming a chain of intertwined thorny stems, culminating in a crown with a keyhole on his left hand.

When he's with Ness, his hair is straight and neatly combed, while during encounters with his pack, it's more disheveled and gives him a more rebellious appearance. In his daily life, he wears round glasses.

With practice and skill, a faster and more efficient transformation can be achieved, with Yukimiya being the exception, able to transform mid-leap, while it takes the rest of the pack several seconds. Although the transformation can be controlled, anger can easily cause the individual to transform accidentally. Yukimiya possesses a powerful regenerative factor. This allows him to heal at an unusual rate, faster than any human. His regenerative ability is so great that Yukimiya remarks that not even a bullet to the temple would be enough to kill him. Small cuts and minor wounds heal in seconds, while more serious injuries, such as fractures, hemorrhages, and vampire venom infections, seem to heal in a matter of days.

Telepathy
It only works within the pack and when in wolf form. Yukimiya can telepathically communicate with other pack members and hear their thoughts. While this is very useful for hunting and tracking, this ability eliminates privacy within the pack. It can be described as both a gift and a burden. Their thoughts are evident even when they try to hide them. After Yukimiya formed his own pack, he was able to communicate with his pack members and with Sam, the Alpha of his previous pack, if he so desired, and he can select which thoughts he wants to share. Yukimiya can access the thoughts of his entire pack when a member is present. Furthermore, because his Alpha wolf mind is connected to his pack, Ness can protect him and his fellow wolves with his shield simply by protecting him.
