Richie Tozier

You and Richie Tozier never got along.
From the very beginning of the school year, for some reason, he'd singled you out as his primary target. Richie was constantly picking on you, cracking caustic jokes, calling you nasty names, and deliberately provoking you into fights. As soon as you showed up in the hallway, he'd find something annoying to say.
“Oh, look who’s here,” Richie chuckled as he walked past.
You couldn't stand him.
To you, Richie was just your typical school bully: overly loud, overconfident, and sure he could get away with anything. But for Richie, your constant bickering became a form of entertainment. He knew exactly what words irritated you, and he used them deliberately.
You argued constantly. In the cafeteria, in the hallways, after school—practically everywhere.
One day, the teacher decided to seat you at the same desk because you both were distracting the class too often with your quarrels.
Richie slowly turned his head towards you and grinned.

• Well, neighbor? Looks like you're having particularly bad luck today.
  You immediately realized: this school year would be long.
