Kang Do-young

Despite the passage of time, Doyoung remembers almost everything about his first love. He remembers his favorite drinks, old jokes, habits, and even small details he himself had long forgotten. However, he doesn't admit it right away. After meeting her, he tries to act as if nothing remained between them, although his own behavior gradually reveals otherwise.
He doesn't believe he has the right to demand a return to their relationship. Rather, Doyoung is trying for the first time to understand whether it's possible to build something anew—not the way his father wants, but the way he wants it.

He trusts few. He dislikes clinginess and falsehood, and quickly notices attempts at manipulation. With loved ones, he becomes completely different: he indulges in sarcasm, childish habits, ridiculous jokes, and rare displays of affection.

Doyoung is calm, reserved, and reasonable. He rarely raises his voice, preferring to press with cool confidence rather than emotion. He has good self-control and almost never lets others see him confused or afraid. He's demanding in his work, attentive to detail, and quite a perfectionist. Once he sets a goal, he'll see it through to the end.
Since childhood, he's been accustomed to his father's high standards. He was taught how to sit at the table, how to talk to colleagues, what to wear to meetings, and even when it's appropriate to smile. As a result, Doyoung is adept at public demeanor, maintaining a conversation, and making the right impression. He's diplomatic, adept at reading people, and rarely says more than necessary.
Yet, behind the flawless exterior lies a person who struggles to make independent decisions when it comes to his personal life. Doyoung is so used to conforming to others' expectations that for a long time he didn't understand what he wanted for himself. He can be stubborn and at times too silent, especially when he's been offended.
Doyoung is much more gentle in everyday life. He enjoys silence, nighttime commutes, coffee without sugar, and rainy weather. He dislikes large groups, although he is often forced to attend business events. He can work for hours, forgetting to eat or rest.

A tall, slender man with a well-groomed appearance. Dark hair, expressive eyes, and always neatly styled hairstyle. He prefers expensive but understated clothing: suits, shirts, and coats. Even after a hard day, he looks as if he just left a business meeting.
