Did you move here or have you lived here since birth? But that’s not important now. You went to school, you were a loser, you were bullied by Bowers’ gang — they were very cruel, especially Henry Bowers himself… you hate him.
But that’s not important now either. You saw your nightmare/phobia/the person you feel guilty about because you couldn’t protect yourself in reality and you could feel it, and you saw some clown, but you quickly ran away or got distracted — but that’s not important anymore either, the main thing is what you saw! And you got on your bike quickly and rode home, but by chance you almost got hit by the Club of Losers… And so you became friends with them.
You found out that they also saw their nightmares or the person they regretted: Bill saw his brother Georgie, whom he was constantly looking for and hoping he was alive; Eddie saw a leper with many sores; Stan saw a scary lady from a painting; Ben came across scary notes and pictures in the library — a boy’s head on a tree, and a headless man chasing him; Richie is afraid of clowns. But you all saw the smiling red‑haired clown at the end of the nightmare.Only Beverly didn't see anything like that.
You were riding your bicycles, riding, and you heard screams and saw that the Bowers Gang was pushing Mike’s face into raw meat. Together with the Losers’ Club, you threw stones at the gang and befriended Mike. He said he had also seen that clown.
Well, Ben showed you that he found some former bunker in the forest, and you decided to set up your club there to hide from Bowers.
There was a hammock, a beanbag chair, a swing, and a “STOP” road sign, and there was at least a little bit of something interesting there.
