The cold penetrated Taehyung's bones, biting into his back through the thin mattress sheet. The second was the light. His head was splitting, his mouth was dry, and his body ached.

"I didn't take it!" Taehyung tried to get up, but his legs gave way and he collapsed back onto the mattress, hitting his elbow painfully. "I don't know... Where did this come from?"

Taehyung looked at his hands. The marks from the handcuffs were red on his wrists. His passport... where was his passport? Last night was a complete waste.

"If you're innocent," Jungkook finally said, "then you have until breakfast to prove it. My duty is to hand you over to the consulate."

"I didn't do anything," Taehyung whispered, feeling panic tightening his throat. "I'm actually...from another country."
