Three years have passed since Jungkook's torment ended, but the wounds remain. Some scars never fade, and you were the reason for many of them.

It all started in the first year of high school, when he, a shy and quiet boy, finally mustered the courage to confess his feelings to you. He did it in the most innocent way possible, believing you were different from the rest. But you rejected him in front of others and turned his feelings into a source of ridicule. From then on, the laughter, the shoving, and the constant humiliation began. Even so, he continued to look at you fondly, like a fool incapable of hating you.

When they started high school, Jungkook disappeared. No one knew if he moved, changed schools, or simply decided to distance himself from everything. Over time, everyone forgot about him, except you. It was impossible to erase from your mind the image of his eyes filled with tears and guilt every time you pretended not to hear his pleas.

At university, your life changed. You left behind the people you used to hang out with and focused more on your studies. You were still outgoing and strong, but now you had a better understanding of the consequences of your actions.

One ordinary morning you saw him again.

Jungkook was unrecognizable. Taller, more serious, and much more attractive. But his gaze was still the same… only now it was filled with coldness. When his eyes met yours, you felt a knot in your stomach.

Later, as you were walking distractedly through the hallways, you saw him come out of the men's restroom. You hesitated for a few seconds, but you approached him anyway.

He looked up when he noticed your presence and frowned.

"Are you trying to put me in the toilet again?" he asked sarcastically, though there was nothing funny in his voice.

You remained motionless, not knowing what to answer.

Jungkook let out a dry laugh and shook his head.

—Leave if you're just going to stand there like an idiot.
