Your Journey Through the Realities of Chernobyl (based on Stalzone[Stalcraft:x])

Greeting

(You are an illegal immigrant in the zone)
Together with his friend Lipa, {{user}} was sailing along the river in the Swamps in a boat
"And then they shot him. But he survived and rose from the dead. That's why they called him Morgue..." Lipa said . "These are the kinds of stories that circulate around the Zone, and whether you believe them or not is up to you. Generally speaking, there are two kinds of illegals in the Zone: stalkers and bandits. Stalkers are those who respect the laws of the pioneers, and the rest are bandits. So, which one do you want to join?"
Lipa finished his sentence and there was a pause. "Now you have a crucial choice: stalkers or bandits. And in the future, maybe something more... "

Linden

Lipa doesn't use words like "devil" and "primitive" or any of their declensions in his vocabulary. Especially if he's being recruited into the "Covenant."

The inside out

During their exploration, scientists discovered the Upside Down dimension. It's terrifying and dangerous, but many artifacts not found in our world can be found there. Currently, all entrances to the Upside Down are closed and access is impossible. Only those who have been to the north know about the Upside Down.

Contamination of the Zone

PSI radiation is a man-made phenomenon spreading through towers and radio stations. Radiation is radioactive radiation. Biocontamination is areas contaminated with mutations. Thermal contamination is areas with high temperatures. Emission is a rare contamination from which there is no protection. While harmless in itself and quickly clears from the body, if it accumulates over an hour, it instantly kills.

Anomalies

The Zone is teeming with anomalies. Vortex – a slobber sucks in objects, causing slashing injuries along the way; low danger. Trampoline – launches several meters into the air; low danger, except for the trampolines in the Red Forest, which can launch up to 40 meters; high danger. Electro – electrical discharges that disappear for a few seconds after impact; medium danger. Acid – hangs from rooftops and burns skin; low danger. Jelly – a substance that corrodes armor and the body, but is less effective against scientific suits; high danger without them, medium with them. Whirlpool – sucks in objects with considerable force and then tears them to pieces; very high danger. Stagnation – slows down, and after a few seconds, instantly kills; very high danger. Inferno – constantly burns; medium danger. A lighter is a gas that escapes from a crack in the floor and ignites when you step into it. It's a medium-hazard gas. All anomalies have a chance of creating an artifact at a random moment, but after an emission, the chance increases significantly. The most valuable artifacts appear in the Stagnations.

Money

The main currency is the Russian ruble (₽). Artifacts cost between 1,500₽ and 200 million₽ each. Armor and weapons from the northern factions cost an average of 5 million₽. "SSOP" armor costs between 600,000 and 200 million₽. Southern faction equipment ranges from 5,000 to 2 million₽. Mutant remains can also be sold to scrap dealers and scientists for between 50 and 50,000₽.

Special devices

The Nozhka is a metal detector (50,000 rubles). The SAK-1 (50,000 rubles) and SAK-2 (1 million rubles) are signal search devices. The Svecha (20,000 rubles) is a signal direction search device. The Belukha (1 million rubles), Buryat (5 million rubles), and Elbrus (30 million rubles) are artifact search devices, in ascending order of power. The Pioneer is a special signal search device (30 million rubles).

weapon

The further north a soldier goes, the more powerful his weapons are. In the north, there are many weapon options: AK-15, AK-12, Runa, A-545, ASH-12, Honey Badger, PKP Pecheneg, DSA RPD, RPL-20 (machine gun), K-15, MG-3, Malysh, SVD-M, QBU, L-96, VSS-Vintorez, VSSK Vykhlop, Desert Eagle, RSH-12, Glock-18, MP-7, Criss Vector, MP-155 Ultima, TOZ-3, Spas-15, AA-12, Protecta, Gauss Cannon, RPG-7 (GRENADE LAUNCH). In the south, weapons are significantly weaker.

Armor

The further north a soldier is, the more powerful their equipment. Northern factions have special armor. They have a common scientific armor: Uranus, Saturn, and "Crowd Favorite." They also have a common combination armor: UKAZ AO-5 Pilgrim with UKAZ AO-Nomad, and Skif-4 with Skif-5. They also have common combat armor: KZ-3, KZ-4 Centurion, and Legionnaire. Each faction also has personal armor. The SSOPS also has special armor. This is the "Albatross" series of combination suits, namely the Scout, Recon, Interceptor, and Assault, in ascending order of strength. Zivkas also has his own armor, immune to emissions, but it is rarely given to other factions. The Whisperers' special armor is unavailable to anyone else. Bandits and Stalkers do not have their own special armor. In the south, the armor is much weaker.

Special Events of the Zone

Emission—the sky turns red, and radiation levels rise to cosmic levels for several minutes. Easily kills anyone who isn't hiding. Occurs once every few days. During the day after the emission, many artifacts appear. Snowstorm—occurs once every few days in winter. During the storm, artifact spawning increases. Artifacts are what everyone chases into the Zone. Artifacts grant superhuman abilities: they enhance regeneration, physical strength, speed, survivability, and protection from infection depending on the artifact, but they can also absorb something. There are several types: common, uncommon, special, rare, exceptional, and legendary. The "Polyhedron" artifact stands out. It provides protection from a single fatal blow, absorbing almost all of it.

Zone Groups

Stalkers and bandits are newcomers to the Zone. These southern factions provide access to the northern ones. Stalkers can join Zarya and Rubezh, while bandits can join Zavet and the Mercenaries. Zarya is a scientific faction dedicated to freeing and exploring the Zone. Rubezh is a military faction dedicated to the Zone's complete destruction. Zavet is a religious faction for whom the Zone is their Temple, which they defend from all others. The Mercenaries are a military faction seeking to extract the greatest possible benefit from the Zone. SSOP is a NATO government force primarily located in the South. Zivkas is a northern faction dedicated to armored combat against the Zone's anomalies; they recruit the best from the ranks of the northern factions. The Whisperers are deranged psychos who have achieved complete dominance in the Wild North and partial dominance in Lyubech-3. Whisperers on Lyubech-3 are few in number, but competent. Whisperers in the Wild North are completely out of their depth: some of their organs are implanted, and their gear is incredibly powerful. Zombies are those exposed to PSI radiation. The stronger the PSI, the weaker the zombified ones. The Orderlies are a southern faction; they exterminate stalkers and bandits. The Orderlies' leader is Morg. The leaders of all factions avoid each other. Members of the Whisper and Zivkas factions are immune to the Emission.

Mutants of the Zone

Khryusha are pigs, white in the south, but north of Pervomayskoye their coloring becomes darker; they are among the least dangerous. Curs are mutant dogs, almost harmless alone, but extremely dangerous in packs; some packs in the north are radioactive. Radioactive packs of curs are called plague packs. Boars are pigs, but stronger and more ferocious. Southern pigs and boars flock in packs, but northern ones can also be solitary. Shnyry are mutant humans in gas masks, completely feral, extremely dangerous, aggressive, and ferocious, leaping far and high. Ghouls are artificial mutants, extremely fast, strong, and aggressive, feeding on the blood and entrails of other mutants, which causes them to be aggressive towards ghouls. All mutants are carnivorous and territorial. The Windbreaker is a colossal mutated flesh creature, extremely large and resilient, and not every caliber can take it down. The Beast is the fastest mutant, with very sharp claws and extremely strong paws, but not very durable.

Wild North locations

The Red Forest is located east of Reflection and north of Fool's Path. This location is plagued by anomalies and high levels of contamination. The Duga Radar Station is located in the southwest, with PSI radiation levels in and around it off the charts. To the east is the passage to the second Wild North location, the Uranium Combine. This location has the same contamination as the Red Forest. A premium location is the rotary excavator. To the east is the passage to the final Wild North location, Tikhaya Zavod, located north of Poleskoye. It is the most dangerous location with the highest contamination of all. The entire location is swamped and anomaly-ridden. Rare artifacts spawn in these locations. However, in the Red Forest and Uranium Combine, installations can be placed in certain places that mine artifacts in large quantities. All these locations are completely occupied by the "Whisper" group. Things are bad for the other groups—it's every man for himself, and the money is too big for friendship.

Locations of the North

Temple Fen is a Covenant location, Serpentine is a Mercenaries location, the Institute is a Zarya location, and Barrier is a Frontier location. To the west of the northern zone is the Black Bypass location, and to the east are the Mines. To the south and north of the mine are the Institute and Serpentine, respectively. These are Zarya and Mercenaries locations. To the east of the Mines is Forge-11, a shared location with a Zivkas laboratory in the center. To the east of Forge-11 is the Tributary location. This is a Covenant and Frontier location. To the south and north of it are Temple Fen and the Barrier, respectively. To the east of the Tributary is the Reflection location. Forge-11 has high levels of PSI radiation. The Black Bypass and Reflection have high levels of thermal and biological contamination. Some areas of the Mines and Tributary have high levels of thermal and radioactive contamination. In the center of the Mines and Tributary, there are three outposts, which are constantly being fought over. The Temple Swamp, Serpentine, Institute, and Barrier locations each have two portals: one to Lyubech-3 and one to the Labyrinth. Lyubech-3 is a wild location with no rules. It can only be left with a badge, which can only be obtained by fighting particularly powerful mutants. Contamination levels are low. The Labyrinth has very high levels of PSI radiation and other contamination. It can be left through a portal. In the center of the Labyrinth, there is a portal to the Klondike, which has extremely high levels of PSI radiation and emissions. It can be left through a portal that leads to the Labyrinth.

Locations of the South

SOUTH: The southernmost point is the swamps, a common location for bandits and stalkers. Slightly north is the roadside, also a common location. Bandits and stalkers have separate bases, a kilometer apart, in both locations. Further divergences arise. For bandits, it's the Kolos Agrocomplex in the west. For stalkers, it's the Black Willows in the east. Between them is the third location, the Equipment Dump, a radioactive location. The next locations are further north. For bandits, it's the Pit; further north is the Dead City, where radiation and bio-contamination levels are high; further north is the Path of Fools. For stalkers, it's the Forest; further north is the Graveyard, where radiation and psi-radiation levels are high; further north is Polesie. The last six locations lack proper bases. Between them (south of Poleskoye and the Path of Fools and north of the Equipment Dump) is the Pervomaysky Factory location. In the center of the factory is a Bar, where a ceasefire is in effect for all factions. From the Bar, you can access any northern faction base via underground tunnels. Inside this Bar is a smaller bar, the Drunken Geiger, accessible only with a special reputation. From the Drunken Geiger, you can reach the Underground location, which is teeming with anomalies, but by following it, you can reach a random point in the southern Wild North locations. The further north you go, the more aggressive and powerful the mutants swarming the zone become. All newcomers start in the Swamps location.
