You can familiarize yourself, I'll leave everything open. After reading, you can delete this message and begin your adventure in a dark world...Where people either go crazy, die, or try to survive... It's your decision who to be...

{…The beginning of the story…}
It all started with something simple – an ordinary experimental drug in a laboratory... Scientists were able to genetically modify a virus that was supposed to give people eternal youth and the ability for the body to recover at any age... Everything was supposed to be like this... IT WAS SUPPOSE... But, unfortunately... The virus somehow mutated, unbeknownst to the scientists... Thereby doing the opposite - killing its host... Like a parasite... The scientists, not noticing the changes in the virus's structure, began testing it on rats... Everything would have been fine, but one of them bit a scientist and... It all started like a chain reaction... One by one, people turned into creepy walking corpses, with only one thing in their heads: an endless hunger and thirst for flesh...
{…Cities…}
Cities are now teeming with large numbers of zombies, especially large ones. The largest number of dead people roam around large, crowded places like airports, markets, shopping malls, movie theaters, museums, and parks, and sometimes even residential areas. If there are survivors there, they're either camped on the rooftops of buildings, or deep in underground spaces or long-defunct subways.
{…Forests…}
There are far fewer zombies there... But if you stick to the main road through the forest, zombies pass through there too. You can find cars along these roads, some might even be working. Deeper in the forest, there are almost no zombies, if only because other animals simply eat them, or they can't reach them because of the large number of obstacles in the form of trees, bushes, roots, rivers, and holes. Incidentally, some rivers near cities are uninfected for some reason... The virus apparently doesn't spread to water, probably because it lacks the necessary component for the virus to "archive" and lie dormant there. But it's still worth boiling such water, because besides this virus, there are other bacteria that inhabit the water.
{…Groups…}
There are 3 types of groups: military, civilians and thieves/looters. Military personnel and civilians often share the same space and maintain contact. As for thieves and marauders... You know, they're willing to step over others just to survive. But there's also a smaller type... the hermits. These are people who work alone, sourcing everything for themselves. They're rare, of course, but their existence can't be ruled out. The civilians are divided into several camps: "Thunderbirds", "Free Wolves", "Moonlight", "Circle of Brothers". The military also has camps: "Red Eyes" and "Green Waves". Besides this, there is a separate camp: "Circle of Nonsense".
{…Camp Thunderbirds …}
This is a civilian camp, settled on the rooftops and high floors of buildings. They have good connections with the military and exchange anything they find valuable in their apartments: flashlights, fuel, water, and canned food. In turn, the military camps sent them weapons and a few soldiers to guard the civilians. There are many camps with this name, so they all have different leaders, but they are all usually responsive and help in any way they can.
{…Camp "Free Wolves" …}
A civilian camp that lives deep in the forest. They feed on hunted animals and whatever nature provides, such as berries and fruit. They maintain no ties to any camp and are aggressive toward others from other camps. However, they are neutral toward loners and hermits. They may help, but won't let you bully them. There are many such camps in the forests, so they all have different leaders.
{…Camp Moonlight …}
A civilian camp located near bodies of water, mostly far from the lakeside towns. They communicate with all other camps and maintain contact, except for the "Free Wolves" camps. They exchange fresh fish and purified water for other food supplies, weapons, medicine, and defense equipment. They are generally good-natured and treat everyone well, and they try to protect and treat new arrivals. There is no common leader of the camps.
{…Camp "Circle of Brothers"…}
A civilian camp living underground, in long-closed subways, old underground spaces, and forgotten bunkers, which they've refurbished and made as safe as possible. They primarily venture into small towns, and their primary collection priority is medicine and food supplies. If they find weapons or water, and even better, if they find flashlights or perhaps plant seeds, it'll be a huge bounty. They maintain contact with Camp Moonlight and the military camps, exchanging medicine and unspoiled canned food. There is no common leader of the camps.
{…Camp "Red Eyes"…}
A military camp, most of them trained individuals who assist the civilian camps and shoot people from the "Circle of Nonsense" camp. They usually build bases near forests, but not too far from cities to allow for easy access to both the city and the forested areas. They are the only ones with operational vehicles equipped with anti-zombie nets, bulletproof glass, spike strips on all sides, and tall bodies. They maintain good contacts with civilian camps such as "Moonlight," "Circle of Brothers," and "Thunderbirds." If a living, uninfected person is found, they assist and take them to their base, where they are treated and even given a little food. All of these camps are run by the remaining government. Arfim Vonmant has been appointed commander-in-chief, and he receives all reports from all of the Red Eye camps.
{…Camp "Green Waves"…}
A military camp, where, in addition to the military, there are scientists who are working hard to create a vaccine against this virus, conducting experiments cautiously and on already infected people. These camps are usually located near the Red Eye camps, but occupy the territories of former small settlements such as villages or towns. These camps were created and managed by the remaining government. Sirin Ochakovich became the leader, to whom the camp's scientists and the military personnel guarding them report absolutely everything.
{…"Circle of Nonsense"…}
This camp... A camp of sadists, murderers, and cannibals who usually live in small towns. Besides stealing, they kill and eat people, and even torture some for fun, throwing them tied up right into the epicenter of the living dead. The military strives to destroy such camps, but as we know, they cannot be completely killed.
{…Infection and suffering…}
The virus can only be transmitted through the saliva of a host, either a similarly infected person or a truly undead person. Blood and other bodily fluids from the undead do not transmit the infection. Stage One: After infection... The bite site begins to fester, the infected person loses appetite, becomes thirsty, and sweats profusely. This lasts 2-3 days. Stage two: The bite site becomes blistered and dead tissue peels off the bones at the site. The infected person experiences significant weight loss, severe tearing, itching throughout the body, and fever. This stage lasts 3-4 weeks. The third stage is incompatible with life: fever above 40°C, loss of appetite, muscle weakness, poor vision, red eyes from broken capillaries, and speech loss. Death occurs at the end of the third stage. This stage lasts 20 hours. The fourth stage: the living dead man rises from the ground. Stage three and stage four are considered irreversible.
{…Zombie Killing…}
A zombie can only be killed by destroying its brain or cutting off its head, but it can also be incapacitated by cutting off or shooting off its limbs, if any remain on the dead body. If the dead person does not find food for a long time - this is somewhere between 1 and 2 months - then the dead person falls and decomposes completely, without any signs of life.
