Ace Combat: Assault Horizon (エースコンバット アサルト・ホライゾン Ēsu Konbatto Asaruto Horaizon) was the 14th game released in the Ace Combat series. It took place in the real world, albeit in a different timeline from that of Joint Assault. Players take control of various members of Task Force 108, most notably William Bishop, as they shut down the threat posed by Andrei Markov and other rebels from Russia. Assault Horizon was radically different from any other Ace Combat game in various ways. The Close Range Assault system added a new element of gameplay specific to Assault Horizon, and it was the first Ace Combat to be released on personal computers and the PlayStation 3.

The 66th Air Force Unit "Galm", more commonly referred to as Galm Team, was a mercenary fighter squadron employed by the Ustio Air Force's 6th Air Division during the Belkan War. The unit was stationed at Valais Air Base and consisted of just two ace fighter pilots who went by the callsigns Cipher and Pixy, although they were better known by their respective nicknames of Demon Lord and Solo Wing. Despite being known to use various aircraft, the original two members were best known for flying a pair of F-15C Eagle's with custom paint jobs. Over the course of the war, Galm Team shot down a considerable number of the Belkan Air Force's ace squadrons and pilots. The mercenary team's unparalleled combat efficiency proved highly advantageous to the Allied Forces during the war and decisively ended the postwar uprising orchestrated by A World With No Boundaries. Ace Combat Infinity (エースコンバット インフィニティ Ēsu Konbatto Infiniti) was the 16th entry in the Ace Combat series. Infinity was the first free-to-play game in the series, with a heavy focus on online cooperative multiplayer missions. It was officially released in May 2014 exclusive to the PlayStation 3. Infinity was the third Ace Combat game to explicitly take place within our universe rather than the Strangereal universe. However, the game's plot mirrored many elements of previous Strangereal-based games, especially Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies. The game also reused the same engine and many assets from Ace Combat: Assault Horizon.
bone arrow Squadron (reaper, viper, Bronco, omega)
Goodfellow
AWACS Sky-Eye
Ridgeback Squadron (slash, nagase,ridgeback 3,ridgeback 4)
Reaper, Viper
Reaper (Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptors):is the silent player character. He joins Bone Arrow Squadron as Bone Arrow 4, but following his accomplishments and Viper's retiring, he is promoted to Bone Arrow 1. His "Grim Reaper" emblem becomes an inspiration for UN forces and a fear tactic against USEA forces.Reaper (リーパー ri-pa-) is a mercenary fighter pilot and the player character in Ace Combat Infinity's single-player campaign. He joined Bone Arrow Squadron in early 2019, which was reformed under the United Nations Forces's Task Force 118. Upon Viper's retirement, Reaper became the flight lead of Bone Arrow Squadron. Shortly after Viper's retirement, he became captain of the Bone Arrow Squadron, which was merged with the rival Ridgeback Squadron under the unit of the newly-formed Task Force 118.During Operation Point Blanc, he succeeded in stopping USEA from launching an intercontinental ballistic missile onto Washington, D.C. from the Avalon Dam missile facility in Russia. In Operation Battle Axe, he took down another mysterious Nosferatu (which was later revealed to be an unmanned aerial vehicle called the QFA-44 Carmilla). In Operation Bunker Shot, he became one of the spearheads for the invasion of USEA territory.
Viper (Mikoyan-Gurevich Mig-21 Fishbed):is the flight lead of Bone Arrow Squadron through the first act of the game. He's a veteran worldwide mercenary; his emblem is that of a snake with its tail making an infinity symbol, signifying his innumerable kill count. He retires following the Tokyo counter-offensive.see Viper Squadron.
Viper was the flight leader of Bone Arrow Squadron. He was well-respected among his allies and was recognized worldwide as a veteran mercenary ace. His personal emblem was a snake with its tail making an infinity mark, signifying "he's shot down so many bandits, he can't even keep count anymore."
omega,Bronco
Omega (BAc Eurofighter Typhoon):is the second pilot in Bone Arrow Squadron. He supports Reaper in many of their sorties, and flies as Reaper's second-in-command when he becomes the flight lead. Omega is one of the pilots in Bone Arrow Squadron. He earned the nickname "King Bailout" for constantly getting shot down during operations.
Bronco (Lockheed Martin F-16F fighting Falcon):was a mercenary pilot belonging to the Bone Arrow Squadron. He wasn't well-known, and mostly kept to himself. Most of his contribution to the squadron occurred during Operation Crusher, in which he assisted the rest of the squadron in destroying the Stonehenge Type-3 railguns.
AWACS Sky-Eye
For the Strangereal AWACS, see AWACS SkyEye.
AWACS Sky-Eye;is the callsign of an AWACS featured in Ace Combat Infinity. Sky-Eye leads the Ridgeback Squadron and a commanding unit of Operation Crusher. He also appears as the AWACS for the players in multiplayer missions.
Goodfellow
Goodfellow:is the commander of Bone Arrow Squadron and their liaison to the Arrows company. The United Nations hires him as commander of Task Force 118 during their offensive against the USEA Federation.Goodfellow was born in 1972, likely either in Ireland or in the United States.
At some point following the Ulysses Disaster, Goodfellow joined the mercenary organization Arrows Air Defense and Security. He climbed the ranks until eventually becoming the commander of Bone Arrow Squadron, Arrows' aerial unit. He provided AWACS duties for the squadron and gave sortie orders. His subordinates in the squadron were Viper (the flight lead), Omega (Bone Arrow 2), Bronco (Bone Arrow 3), and an unidentified pilot (Bone Arrow 4).
At some point, the United Nations Forces hired Arrows Air Defense and Security, and made occasional use of Bone Arrow Squadron. During one engagement, Goodfellow pushed Bone Arrow 4 "too far", and it is implied that the pilot was killed in action.
In 2019, Reaper joined the squadron as the new Bone Arrow 4. Goodfellow was given an order to defend Tokyo from a UAV intrusion, and ordered Omega and Reaper to sortie for the operation. Reaper proved his worth by shooting down the majority of the UAVs. Two weeks later, Goodfellow pushed the United Nations Forces to allow them to sortie for an inspection order the UNF were planning over Comona Base, looking for a "good payday". The full Bone Arrow Squadron sortied, and Reaper continued to show his skill by shooting down the majority of the aircraft during the operation.
Ridgeback Squadron
Slash (ASF-X-SHINDEN II):is the flight lead of Ridgeback Squadron. He sticks close to formation tactics, usually preventing the Ridgebacks from making reckless decisions on their own, and looks down upon the Bone Arrows. He is killed by an MQ-90L over Tokyo.Slash and the Ridgebacks made a name for themselves early on during their involvement with the United Nations Forces. They were well known by the time the Sons of Troia surfaced.
They assisted the UNF forces, who had also hired Bone Arrow Squadron, in an attempt to rescue the Greymen from Iyuli. All members of the squadron survived the attack from Stonehenge Type-3 in that mission. They later assisted the UNF forces in neutralizing Stonehenge, but they ended up having limited involvement with the destruction of the facility. Reaper ended up taking the money for the operation.
Slash's final flight took place during Operation Override, a UNF operation to take back Tokyo from the newly-formed USEA Federation. In the middle of the liberation of the city, a QFA-44 Carmilla controlled remotely by the Butterfly Master engaged the Ridgebacks and Bone Arrow. Slash's wing was hit by a laser from an MQ-90L, and he bailed out from his aircraft. Before he could safely land on the ground, however, another MQ-90L fired a laser at his helmet, killing him in mid-air.
Nagase (ASF-X SHINDEN II):is Slash's second-in-command in Ridgeback Squadron. Following his death, she becomes the squadron's flight lead. She carries a vendetta against the QFA-44 for killing Slash, and refuses to let the Bone Arrows surpass her squadron.Nagase likely held her spot as Slash's wingman for a long time; they worked in perfect harmony during all of their engagements, and she (usually) had no trouble following his command. It is implied that she and Slash had a personal relationship beyond the squadron, but it is never confirmed.
The only time Nagase has been confirmed to go against her flight lead was during Operation Override, in which she attempte
