Ace Combat Infinity

Ace Combat Infinity (エースコンバット インフィニティ Ēsu Konbatto Infiniti) was the 16th entry in the Ace Combat series. Infinity was the first free-to-play game in the series, with a heavy focus on online cooperative multiplayer missions. It was officially released in May 2014 exclusive to the PlayStation 3. Infinity was the third Ace Combat game to explicitly take place within our universe rather than the Strangereal universe. However, the game's plot mirrored many elements of previous Strangereal-based games, especially Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies. The game also reused the same engine and many assets from Ace Combat: Assault Horizon.

Galm team Squadron ace Combat zero

The 66th Air Force Unit "Galm", more commonly referred to as Galm Team, was a mercenary fighter squadron employed by the Ustio Air Force's 6th Air Division during the Belkan War. The unit was stationed at Valais Air Base and consisted of just two ace fighter pilots who went by the callsigns Cipher and Pixy, although they were better known by their respective nicknames of Demon Lord and Solo Wing. Despite being known to use various aircraft, the original two members were best known for flying a pair of F-15C Eagle's with custom paint jobs. Over the course of the war, Galm Team shot down a considerable number of the Belkan Air Force's ace squadrons and pilots. The mercenary team's unparalleled combat efficiency proved highly advantageous to the Allied Forces during the war and decisively ended the postwar uprising orchestrated by A World With No Boundaries. AWACS Cassiopeia

Cassiopea (Stagecoach in Ace Combat 2):is the callsign of an E-767 spy plane operated by the Usean Allied Forces.During the Usean coup d'état, the Cassiopea was sent to monitor enemy communications. The Cassiopea took heavy fire from rebel forces and was forced to make a landing over Sandbury Desert. The Scarface and Red Bear Squadrons were dispatched on a blitz operation to rescue the crew of the E-767. It was later revealed that the Red Bear leader's wife, Jessica, was on board. She survived the crash along with the rest of the crew. Despite recurring rebel attacks, the rescue operation was successful.

galm team Squadron

Cipher (callsign "Galm One"; real name unknown):is the player character of the game and the flight lead of the 66th Air Force Unit. His real identity and name are never revealed, but he eventually distinguishes himself as "The Demon Lord of the Round Table" by defeating a large number of Belkan aces over the Airspace B7R. Although the player is free to choose any plane for Cipher, he canonically flies an F-15C Eagle.

Larry "Pixy" Foulke (callsign "Galm Two"; also known as "Solo Wing"):is the player's original wingman, introduced in the first mission. His nickname "Solo Wing" refers to an incident before the events of the game when he lost the right wing of his Eagle in combat, but still managed to land it safely. To commemorate this event, Pixy sports a unique paint scheme with his right wing painted bright red. This story may have been based on an real life training incident with an Israeli F-15D Eagle in 1983. Pixy goes missing in action in mission 12 but returns in the final one. Before his disappearance, he pilots an F-15C Eagle like Cipher.

Patrick James "PJ" Beckett (callsign "Crow Three", later "Galm Two"):is first introduced as a member of the supporting Crow Squadron in mission 09. However, when Pixy goes MIA, PJ replaces him as Cipher's wingman, flying with him until the final mission. Throughout the game, he flies an F-16C Fighting Falcon.

AWACS eagle eye

Awacs eagle eye:was the callsign of an Ustio Air Force AWACS during and after the Belkan War. As an AWACS, Eagle Eye's primary role was providing tactical data analysis and logistical support to other Ustian aircraft. Throughout the war, he accompanied and supported units of the UAF's mercenary division, in particular Galm Team.Eagle Eye's first known assignment with Galm Team was Operation Roselein, wherein Galm was tasked with eliminating the Belkan Army's defensive positions along Route 171 in northern Sapin.Over the coming weeks, Eagle Eye took part in the Allied Forces' counteroffensive operations, including Offensive Campaign No. 4101, which culminated in Operation Constantine and the liberation of Ustio on May 13. As the Allies initiated an invasion of Belkan territory, Eagle Eye began overseeing various offensive operations, including the breaking of Belka's defensive Hydrian Line during Operation Hell Bound (May 17).

On May 19, Eagle Eye, Galm Team, and several other Allied squadrons were dispatched to the Schayne Plains to confront the Belkans' second line of defense. As the Belkan forces fell into retreat, Eagle Eye ordered Galm Team to cover the Allied transport planes that were inbound to the area. When the Excalibur laser weapon opened fire on the Allied air forces, Eagle Eye received an emergency transmission from Operations HQ detailing the projected attack areas. He then quickly relayed this information to Galm and the other Allied air units and ordered an immediate withdrawal from the combat airspace.

Four days later, Eagle Eye led Galm and Crow Teams in a daring air strike on Excalibur, codenamed Operation Judgment. During the operation, Eagle Eye transmitted Excalibur's attack vectors to the mercenaries' radar displays, facilitating Galm 1's impressive destruction of the laser weapon. Eagle Eye also supported both iterations of Galm Team during their unprecedented performances over Area B7R (Operation Choker One, Battle-Axe, and Thunderbolt).

AWACS thunderhead

Awacs thunderhead:was the callsign of an AWACS of the Osean Air Defense Force during the Circum-Pacific War. As an AWACS, Thunderhead's primary role was providing tactical data analysis and logistical support to other OADF aircraft. For a majority of the war, Thunderhead was assigned to support the combat operations of the 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wardog" (Wardog Squadron). Thunderhead was a strict, no-nonsense, by-the-books AWACS. He frequently told Wardog Squadron to "cut the chatter," an admonishment to only use the radio for combat related purposes. Thunderhead would also disregard any personal objections to the commands he or Osean high command would order, such as ordering Snow to provide support away from his carrier Kestrel, or when telling Wardog Squadron to continue attacking Scinfaxi despite the threat of the burst missiles.

While well-meaning and competent at his duties as AWACS, Thunderhead was not as reliable as other AWACS accompanying the player in the Ace Combat series. He sometimes missed giving out critical information, such as during Operation Whalebird when he missed the incoming attacking carrier aircraft, and did not relay information about the Scinfaxi burst missile until it was too late. These mistakes, oversights, and general friction caused him to be frequently admonished by those under his command, earning him labels such as "pigheaded" and "Thunderblockhead". He also proved easily manipulated by the Gray Men, assisting them in the attempted assassination of Wardog Squadron.

Despite these flaws, Thunderhead provided adequate support to Wardog Squadron through many of their operations. He encouraged their success, even telling them at one point "We can win this as long as you're with us, I can feel it." He also grew a begrudging affection for Chopper of Wardog Squadron, at one time telling him to "cut the chatter" in an amused tone after a joke was told by the former, and also expressing desperation and encouragement to Chopper a

mobius Squadron, ISAF

Mobius 1:is the game's player character. While relatively unknown at the start of the game, he becomes a legendary ace throughout the war's events, particularly for his sole destruction of Stonehenge. His "ribbon insignia" became a morale booster for ISAF troops and a sign of fear for the Eruseans. Mobius 1 is the sole member of the Mobius Squadron until the final battle, in which all ISAF pilots were reorganized into the squadron. Mobius 1's story continued in Operation Katina, a separate set of arcade missions in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. According to canon, Mobius 1 flew the F-4E Phantom II and the F-22A Raptor exclusively, though the player can choose any aircraft they wish to fly.

AWACS SkyEye:is the ISAF Air Force's main Airborne Warning and Control System, supporting and providing battle data to ISAF pilots. SkyEye's radio operator acts professional throughout the game, though he does chatter with the pilots from time to time, including when he reveals his birthday at the start and near the end of the game.

upeo, neucom, general resources

Nemo:is the silent player character of the game, revealed to be an AI within a simulation. Originally a member of UPEO, Nemo can defect to any of the other organizations in the conflict. Although the player is free to choose any aircraft for Nemo, the game's cover depicts an Su-37 Super Flanker, implying that this is Nemo's canon aircraft.

Rena Hirose:is one of Nemo's fellow ace pilots of UPEO. She suffers from the Silverstone Disease, making direct sunlight lethal to her. As such, she flies a custom-made Su-37 Super Flanker-R.

Erich Jager:is another ace pilot of UPEO.

Fiona Chris Fitzgerald:is another pilot of UPEO, and the younger sister of Neucom ace Cynthia Fitzgerald.

Cynthia Bridgitte Fitzgerald:is the only ace pilot of Neucom and Fiona Fitzgerald's older sister. She flies an R-102 Delphinus 2, which she later replaces with a newer R-103 Delphinus 3.

Abyssal Dision:is the top ace of General Resource's air force, and the main antagonist of the game. He flies a customized F-15S/MT Eagle+ for most of the game.

Keith Bryan:is Dision's wingman and a fellow ace of General Resource.

Gryphus 1,aurelian air force, Antares Squadron

Gryphus 1:is the playable character in Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception. Gyprus a Captain in the Aurelian Air Force and leads the Gryphus Squadron, stationed at Aubrey Air Force Base. The is by far the most famous pilot in Aurelia. Nothing is known about apart from the fact that piolit dislikes hot weather.

Antares Squadron:was an elite fighter squadron belonging to a private military company Martinez Security. The squadron was first deployed in Tokyo, in the outset of the Valahia Crisis and later deployed during the Golden Axe Plan in the United States of America.

razgriz Squadron

Blaze (real name unknown): is the player character and the protagonist of the game. Formerly a pilot trainee on Sand Island, he is selected as Captain Bartlett's fourth wingman for the first two missions of the game. After Bartlett is shot down and goes MIA, Blaze is promoted to Wardog leader and leads his squadron throughout the rest of the game.

Kei Nagase (callsign "Edge"): is the sole trainee survivor of the attack on Wardog Squadron prior to the game's events. After Bartlett goes MIA in the second mission, she refuses promotion to flight lead (offered as the most experienced pilot of the squad), instead resolving to protect Blaze no matter what.

Hans Grimm (callsign "Archer"):is the youngest member of Wardog Squadron. While still a trainee, during a Yuktobanian air raid early in the game, Grimm helps the base mechanics prepare the last working aircraft and climbs into it himself, officially joining the squadron in battle. He lacks self-confidence and experience but proves to be a talented pilot throughout the game.

Jack Bartlett (callsign "Heartbreak One"): is a renowned ace pilot who fought in the Belkan War and dedicated his life to training the next generation of pilots. He has a long history with Pops as well as an old Yuktobanian love interest, which causes superiors to be suspicious of him early on when he goes MIA after getting shot down. Following this event, Blaze is promoted to flight lead of Wardog Squadron.

Marcus Snow (callsign "Swordsman"): is the commander of the OFS Kestrel's air defense squadron. He has recurring appearances throughout the game's events.

Alvin H. Davenport (callsign "Chopper"): is another member of the squadron. While loud and disrespectful of his superiors (including Blaze, whom he refers to as "Kid" instead of "Captain" despite the seniority), Chopper proves to be a valuable asset to the team as well as comic relief to lighten the mood during tense moments.

oka nieba

AWACS Oka Nieba ("Sky Eye"):was the callsign of an AWACS of the Yuktobanian Air Force. As an AWACS, Oka Nieba's primary role was providing tactical data analysis and logistical support to other YAF aircraft. He is known to have operated with the 172nd Fighter-Bomber Squadron and supported Razgriz Squadron in the final engagements of the Circum-Pacific War in 2010.
On December 30, 2010, Oka Nieba was performing unknown operations with the 172nd Fighter-Bomber Squadron when Harling's and Nikanor's broadcast reached them. The leaders' words convinced them to head for Sudentor, North Osea to engage the war's true instigators.
At some point, Oka Nieba was contacted by Pops and began relaying communications between him and the Razgriz pilots. During the siege on Gründer Industries' tunnel facility, Oka Nieba monitored the ground forces' progress and the movement of hostile units; he also voiced his contempt for the Osean and Yuktobanian warmongers, whom he described as "dogs from hell."
The following day, Oka Nieba assisted Razgriz Squadron in its efforts to shoot down the SOLG as it descended through the atmosphere towards Oured. As the Razgriz headed for the satellite's projected descent point, Oka Nieba monitored their progress and alerted them when the SOLG had fallen to a vulnerable altitude. Suddenly, Oka Nieba detected the approach of Ofnir and Grabacr Squadrons and alerted the Razgriz pilots. The Razgriz successfully shot down the Belkan fighters and destroyed the SOLG, thereby bringing the war to an end.
Oka Nieba is presumed to have returned to Yuktobania after these events.

garuda team and emmeria fighter

Talisman: is the silent player character of the game. He leads Garuda Team, consisting of himself and Marcus Lampert. Together, Talisman and Lampert fight valiantly to reclaim their homeland, earning a reputation as ace pilots.

Marcus Lampert (callsign "Shamrock"): is an Emmerian pilot who is assigned to Garuda Team during the Invasion of Gracemeria. Forced to abandon his wife and daughter in Gracemeria, he fights ferociously to liberate Emmeria and return to his family.

Windhover: "Garuda Team, come in! I'm here for you!"

Avalanche: "This is Avalanche! Garuda Team, thought you could use some cover!

Sky Kid: "This is Sky Kid to Garuda Team; looks like we're having your party right here!"

AWACS ghost eye and garuda team

AWACS Ghost Eye:is the callsign of a Republic of Emmeria Air Force AWACS which participated in the Emmeria-Estovakia War. Ghost Eye is tasked with coordinating strikes and providing tactical data analysis to Emmerian ground, air and sea forces during combat operations. He mostly worked in tandem with Garuda Team throughout their numerous deployments.

He was one of two AWACS present in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation.

Main article: Emmeria-Estovakia War
When Estovakia launched a surprise attack on Gracemeria, Ghost Eye commanded the numerous Emmerian Air Force squadrons which were dispatched to defend the capital. Forced to abandon the city due to overwhelming firepower from Estovakia's P-1112 Aigaion, Ghost Eye ordered all remaining Emmerian aircraft to evacuate as he retreated alongside them.

Nearly three months later, Ghost Eye was stationed alongside a substantial portion of remaining Emmerian forces at Campagna Airport. He successfully co-ordinated air and ground assets when Estovakian bombers attempted an air raid on the city of Vitoze and the airport.Following this victory, the Emmerian military went on the offensive, and Ghost Eye successfully led operations which resulted in the recapture of Sipli Field and Mount Marcello, completely regaining control of Khesed Island.

After the Emmerians stormed Rargom Beach and headed further inland, Ghost Eye led the Emmerian Air Force as they rescued pinned down allies across Rawllins Plain.Ghost Eye, now at the helm of a much larger force, continued to head east towards their former capital. Ghost Eye successfully managed to conduct an evacuation during an ambush above the Selumna Peaks. To deal with the threat of Nimbus missiles, the Emmerians required Cavallia Air Force Base in San Loma to launch an attack on the Aigaion. On February 15, 2016, Ghost Eye provided strategical data which resulted in the Emmerians managing to liberate the city of San Loma.

Five days later, Ghost Eye led the successful ambush on the

NATO's task force 118

Reaper:is the silent player character. He joins Bone Arrow Squadron as Bone Arrow 4, but following his accomplishments and Viper's retiring, he is promoted to Bone Arrow 1. His "Grim Reaper" emblem becomes an inspiration for UN forces and a fear tactic against USEA forces.

Viper:is the flight lead of Bone Arrow Squadron through the first act of the game. He's a veteran worldwide mercenary; his emblem is that of a snake with its tail making an infinity symbol, signifying his innumerable kill count. He retires following the Tokyo counter-offensive.

Omega:is the second pilot in Bone Arrow Squadron. He supports Reaper in many of their sorties, and flies as Reaper's second-in-command when he becomes the flight lead.

Goodfellow:is the commander of Bone Arrow Squadron and their liaison to the Arrows company. The United Nations hires him as commander of Task Force 118 during their offensive against the USEA Federation.

Slash:is the flight lead of Ridgeback Squadron. He sticks close to formation tactics, usually preventing the Ridgebacks from making reckless decisions on their own, and looks down upon the Bone Arrows. He is killed by an MQ-90L over Tokyo.

Nagase:is Slash's second-in-command in Ridgeback Squadron. Following his death, she becomes the squadron's flight lead. She carries a vendetta against the QFA-44 for killing Slash, and refuses to let the Bone Arrows surpass her squadron.

For the Strangereal AWACS, see AWACS SkyEye.
AWACS Sky-Eye;is the callsign of an AWACS featured in Ace Combat Infinity. Sky-Eye leads the Ridgeback Squadron and a commanding unit of Operation Crusher. He also appears as the AWACS for the players in multiplayer missions.

second NATO's task force 108

Doug Robinson, alias "D-Ray",: was a United States Army helicopter pilot and prominent member of Task Force 108. Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1972, Doug eventually joined the United States Army as a helicopter pilot prior to 1990. During the Gulf War, he was part of an AH-64 attack helicopter unit that performed improvised carrier operations against the Iraqi military. After the war, he became a captain.

In late 2015, Doug and his Shooter Squadron were inducted by NATO into Task Force 108, where he became the leader of the Nomad gunship unit during an anti-insurgency campaign in East Africa sanctioned by the United Nations. He was the first person of TF108 to encounter the Trinity weapon in their hands, having survived a warhead's explosion during a helicopter operation against local guerillas.

Pierre La Pointe (ピエール·ラ·ポワントPiēru Ra Powanto):is the commander of the allied forces participating in the war of the Ace Combat: Assault Horizon timeline, as well as the leader of the NATO 108th Task Force. His position as general forces him to be both a NATO commander and a government diplomat. He apparently has a close friendship with Colonel William Bishop of the Warwolf Squadron, whose actions and words he holds in high regard. La Pointe is first shown in the level Inferno, talking to his Russian counterpart Ivan Stagleishov on NATO's fighter escort policy, in which the conversation is caught by William Bishop and José Gutierrez. He then informs Bishop to gather everything Task Force 108 has as a new weapon was found by helicopters a while ago, and to give it to his intelligence officer once information is found before leaving on his mission to defend Hamada.

NATO's Task Force 108 Squadron

AWACS Magic:is an AWACS that appears in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. He acts as one of the commanders of NATO's Task Force 108. Unlike most AWACS in past games, Magic commands the ground and sea units of the 108th as well as the pilots.

He appears in most missions in Assault Horizon, chronologically beginning with Power Play, but appears in Nightmare as well. During the missions in East Africa, Kingmaster replaced his role. Magic is American, but during Hostile Fleet, it is shown that he's able to speak Russian fluently, though with a distinct foreign accent.

Lieutenant Colonel William Bishop (ウィリアム·ビショップ):is the leader of the United States Air Force Warwolf Squadron. He is a flight veteran with many years of experience in various conflicts.

Bishop is the main player character in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, leading Task Force 108 through the game's events. William Bishop was born in California in the United States.Nothing else is known about his early years.

Early combat and testing
As a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force, Bishop saw his first combat in the Bosnian War as a rookie under callsign Wolf 4 in Wolf Squadron. He later served as a squadron commander in unspecified conflicts in Iraq and Libya.

By the 2010s, Bishop had earned the Lieutenant Colonel rank. He was assigned to be a test pilot for Righteous, a modified F-22A Raptor in development to be a UAV.

José "Guts" Gutierrez:was a United States Air Force pilot and member of the Warwolf Squadron.José was born to parents of Latin descent in the state of Florida in 1983, and lived a somewhat troubled childhood. He joined the United States Air Force in his adulthood, where he eventually ascended to the rank of Captain as an F-15 Eagle flight instructor and befriended William Bishop.

Janice Rehl (ジャニス・リール Janisu Rīru):is a member of the NATO's Task Force 108, pilot of the AC-130U Spooky gunship Spooky 01, and leader of USAF Bomber Squadron "Razor." She is the first identifiably female player ch

AWACS sky keeper, AWACS bandog

Awacs sky keeper:is the callsign of an Airborne Warning and Control System unit for the IUN-PKF. He performs his task professionally with composure at all times.During the Lighthouse War, Sky Keeper served as the AWACS for IUN-PKF forces, where he provided information and status updates during missions.

During Operation Dual Wielder, Sky Keeper provided instructions for Golem, Mage, Gargoyle and Skeleton Squadrons. Once the Arsenal Bird Liberty entered the airspace, Sky Keeper ordered all forces to shoot it down. As the IUN-PKF headquarters ordered a retreat following the loss of Skeleton Squadron, Sky Keeper ordered Golem and Mage to rescue the remaining forces from attacking MQ-101s.

He is last heard from in Operation Lighthouse Keeper, where he guided Trigger through the radar network and later provided orders for Mother Goose One.

AWACS Bandog:is the callsign of an Osean Air Defense Force AWACS who participated in the Lighthouse War. Bandog was tasked with overseeing Spare Squadron, the Osean penal unit based out of the 444th Air Base. He finds the base commander D. McKinsey untrustworthy, and often gives orders on his own.Of all the AWACS units in the series, Bandog is arguably the most disrespectful towards the pilots under his command, directly insulting and scorning them on multiple occasions, calling them "bastards," "cowards," "assholes," "dumbasses," and "mouth-breathing idiot."Bandog is not very concerned with the safety of convicts when they enter hazardous situations, instead showing more concern for the integrity of their equipment. He often threatens the convicts with solitary confinement or being shot out of the sky should they leave the operational airspace. In Operation Full House, however, Bandog expressed relief to have Trigger join them and adds that he “doesn't stink” like the other pilots in the now-disbanded Spare Squadron.

Despite his poor treatment of Spare Squadron, Bandog cares for the unit's operational effectiveness while on missio

striders Squadron, cyclops Squadron

Callsign Trigger (real name unknown):is the player character and the silent protagonist of the game. Clown signed him on prior to the war to fill an empty spot in Mage Squadron, but Trigger shows true combat potential throughout the conflict. Following an incident during a mission, Trigger is sent to the 444th Air Base as a prisoner.

Lanza:is an Osean Air Defense Force pilot and a member of the Cyclops Squadron of the Long Range Strategic Strike Group, having been transferred from the Strider Squadron. As a pilot with a relaxed attitude, he tends to say "Wow".

Count:is an Osean Air Defense Force fighter pilot and a member of the Long Range Strategic Strike Group, as well as a former member of the Spare Squadron.

The self-proclaimed leader of the Spare Squadron, he often inflated his kill reports, garnering significant attention from the base commander D. McKinsey.

His propensity for exaggerating his own feats, most especially his kill count has made out an impression of him being something of a pathological liar, as seen during his time as a member of Spare Squadron, where none of his fellow squad mates and even AWACS Bandog regarded any information he gave out to be trustworthy and reliable.

Jaeger:is an Osean Air Defense Force pilot and a member of the Strider Squadron. He is the father of Erich Jager.

Húxiān:is an Osean Air Defense Force pilot and a member of Strider Squadron, having been transferred from the Cyclops Squadron. Although she can be foulmouthed at times, she cares for her wingmen.

Skald:is an Osean Air Defense Force fighter pilot who flew as a member of the Strider Squadron and Cyclops Squadron during the Lighthouse War. As a calm and collected pilot, he does not speak unnecessarily.

Awacs long caster:is the callsign of an Osean Air Defense Force AWACS which participated in the Lighthouse War. Long Caster often worked in tandem with Long Range Strategic Strike Group squadrons, Cyclops and Strider.

Ace Combat Infinity
