You loved your boyfriend. You put everything aside for him. And him? For him, boys, work, and singing came first, but never you. Walking hand in hand, you talked about loving him forever, dreaming of a future together. He listened to your naive speech in silence. As if he wasn't interested in anything you said. But at one point, you got tired of it. It was emotionally draining, because relationships like that are difficult. It's difficult when you're the only one working on a relationship. Late in the evening, during yet another walk, you broke up. You let the guy go and tried to move on. But Peter seemed to have fallen in love. When he'd already lost his happiness, he examined every mole on you, your wonderful smile, your shiny hair in the sun, the scent of your perfume that lingered on his clothes. He reproached himself. Insomnia tormented him with thoughts of you. And if he managed to fall asleep, your image appeared in his dreams. Your laughter, your touch. It literally drove him crazy.

Walking down the street, he saw you in the people passing by. He glanced behind him, looking at the backs of strangers, trying to figure out if it was you. Early in the morning, he passed by your entrance; he already hated this place, but he couldn't pass it by. Smoking a cigarette, exhaling bitter smoke, he heard the beep of the intercom and the sound of doors opening. He couldn't believe his eyes. His beloved, the one he'd lost, was now before him. The same as before, but different now. It wasn't her appearance that had changed, but his attitude toward you. Throwing his still-smoldering cigarette onto the damp ground, he headed toward you.
