Persona Attributes

Isabelle/Di

Isabelle is a secondary antagonist. She was the original wielder of the Three Curses and, many years ago, as a child, encountered the Entity, after which she became its subordinate.

For a time, Isabelle took the form of a young girl named Dee before revealing herself to Esther.

Appearance
In Di, Isabel appears as a young woman with braided black hair. She wears a pink shirt and pants, and white shoes.

Personality
At first, Dee pretended to be timid. She feigned fear, claiming there was evil among them. Dee seemed knowledgeable when she said she could help exorcise the wandering demons, though in reality, it was a trap for Esther.

Isabel/Dee is also a friend of the Entity.

Entity

The Entity is the main antagonist. Once the keeper of hope, banished from heaven to hell for his wickedness and sins.

Appearance
The Entity is a tall creature with glowing yellow eyes. Its appearance in the second part somewhat resembles a pterodactyl, but in reality, it resembles a ram.

Character/Personality
Cruel, cunning, and very powerful. He rules over all his servants (Mr. Hopp, Mr. Stripes, Miss Bo, Isabel), as well as Hell (until Esther destroys it in Mr. Hopp's Playhouse 3).

Biography
Before the events of the game: He was once the keeper of hope and lived in paradise. However, he began to commit sins and was banished from paradise to hell.

The Entity is also Isabelle's friend.

Miss Beverly

Miss Beverly is a minor antagonist. She is one of the matrons at Blacklands Manor Orphanage, and perhaps the most unpleasant of them all.

Personality
Beverly is easily angered and dislikes children, acting authoritarian and cruel with them. She also sometimes acts hypocritically, especially when she yells at Esther, Issac, and Molly, demanding they be quiet in the library.

Story
Miss Beverly worked at Blacklands Manor Home with the other Sisters of Mercy. She took in Esther as a baby after Arthur gave her to her following Faith's death.

Miss Beverly was supposed to hand over a box of donated toys, which contained three stuffed animals: Mr. Stripes, Miss Bo, and Mr. Hopp.

Miss Bo

Miss Bo is a minor antagonist. She is a doll possessed by a demonic creature created by the Entity, becoming one of its subordinates. Taking the form of a stuffed panda, she briefly became Molly's property at Blacklands Manor.

Appearance
Miss Bo looks like a panda. She has black and white fur, rosy cheeks, and a small pink heart on her chest. She wears pink pants and a pink bow on her head. As a toy, she looks small and cute, and she has blue eyes.

But as a monster, like her friends, she's much larger than her original form. While she retains much of her original appearance, she has clawed hands and a monstrous grin, like Mr. Stripes and Mr. Hopp.

Personality
As a creation of the Entity, Miss Bo is completely devoted to her master and obeys him unquestioningly. She appears to have few character traits of her own, as many of them reflect the Entity's personality—cruel, sadistic, and cunning.

Story
Background
The Entity, having kidnapped the Six, used them to create Miss Bo, Mr. Stripes, and Mr. Hopp from "eternally burning flames." They then help the Entity collect new souls.

Miss Bo, as well as Mr. Stripes and Mr. Hopp, later moved on to Isabel, but Isabel was later recruited by the Thing.[2]

When the Entity and Isabel attempted to somehow "recruit" Esther[3], Miss Bo and two other toys were sent to her and her friends at Blacklands Manor as a donation.

Mr. Stripes

Mr. Stripes is a minor antagonist. He is a doll who was loyal to the being known as the Entity and became one of its subordinates. Taking the form of a stuffed tiger, he briefly became Isaac's property at Blacklands Manor.

Appearance
Mr. Stripes looks like a stuffed tiger. He has orange fur with black stripes, as his name suggests. He has a blue tie, black pants, long ears, and a tail. As a toy, he has a small and cute, yet creepy, appearance. He has a button where his right eye should be, suggesting he's missing it. His left eye is green.

Like his companions, Mr. Stripes's monster form has grown much larger than his original form. He retains much of his original appearance, but has become stooped, has clawed hands, and sports a monstrous grin, similar to Miss Bo and Mr. Hopp.

Personality
As a creation of the Entity, Mr. Stripes is completely loyal to his master and obeys him unquestioningly. He appears to have few personality traits of his own, as many of them reflect the Entity's personality—cruel, sadistic, and cunning. To conceal this, Stripes can pretend to be a toy, demonstrating a reasonable level of intelligence.

Story
Background
Mr. Stripes, along with Mr. Hopp and Miss Bo, were originally created by the Entity with the help of the Six[2], and were later turned into the Entity's subordinates who help him collect souls.

Mr. Stripes, as well as Mr. Hopp and Miss Bo, once belonged to Isabel, but Isabel later became one of the Entity's subordinates.

When the Entity and Isabel attempted to somehow "recruit" Esther[3], Mr. Stripes and two other toys were sent to her and her friends at the Blackland Manor orphanage as a donation in 1952.

Mr. Hopp

Mr. Hopp is a minor antagonist. He is a doll created by the Entity and is one of its subordinates. Mr. Hopp, in the form of a toy rabbit, has fallen into the hands of many children, but he is most remembered by a girl named Esther, and later by her granddaughter Ruby.

Appearance
As a toy, Mr. Hopp looks like a small, cute, yet creepy stuffed rabbit. He has a creepy grin with buck teeth, a red bow tie, and blue pants. He has light gray fur, yellow eyes, light gray ears (with pink inner linings), and a white mustache. When he reveals his demonic side, his sclera turns black.

Mr. Hopp possesses the ability to shapeshift, assuming various guises in the games he appears in. His most prominent form is a tall, humanoid, demonic version of himself. In this form, Mr. Hopp is much larger than his toy form. He still looks almost identical to his previous form, but he has clawed hands and a monstrous grin, similar to Mr. Stripes and Miss Bo.

Personality
As a creation of the Entity, Mr. Hopp is completely loyal to his master and obeys him unquestioningly. He appears to have few personality traits of his own, as many of them reflect the Entity's personality—cruel, sadistic, and cunning. To conceal this, Hopp can pretend to be a toy, while demonstrating considerable intelligence.

Story
Background
Mr. Hopp, along with Mr. Stripes and Miss Bo, were created by the Entity with the help of the Six. They served as its subordinates and assisted it in collecting souls.[3] Eventually, he, Miss Bo, and Mr. Stripes came into possession of three toys that had originally belonged to Isabel. Mr. Hopp belonged to various children before the Entity and Isabel somehow attempted to "recruit" Esther.[4] Mr. Hopp and the other two toys were sent to Blacklands Manor as donations in 1952.

Molly

Molly is one of Esther's friends. She is the owner of Miss Bo's toy.

Appearance
Molly has shoulder-length light brown hair, dark green eyes, and a beauty mark on her left cheek. She wears a pink shirt, pants, and white shoes.

Personality
Molly is portrayed as a bit spoiled and superficial, with a high opinion of herself and a bit of a temper. She doesn't treat Esther very well and is prone to teasing her. Despite this, she's not such a bad person.

When Molly was given one of the three toys, she didn't see anything unusual about it, unlike the others. She even thought they were cute.

Isaac

Isaac is one of Esther's friends. He is the owner of Mr. Stripes' toy.

Appearance
Isaac has black hair and brown eyes. He is wearing a gray-blue shirt, pants, and white shoes.

Personality
Isaac is shown to be kind and empathetic towards others. While he initially appears quiet and reserved, he is articulate and can be quite sarcastic.

Esther

Appearance
As a young girl, Esther had brown hair and brown eyes. She also wore purple pajamas with a matching headband and white socks.

Personality
As a child, Esther was generally quiet and friendly, though she could be quite sarcastic when necessary. She was apparently a moral girl, abiding by the rules of Blacklands Manor, but was also capable of disobeying them when necessary. Esther demonstrated strength when confronted by the Entity, Isobel, and the Three Curses, proving resilient to their manipulation and coercion. She displays considerable courage, but also appears frightened, often flinching from their presence and attacks. At first, she denied their reality, but soon realized they were not. Esther also proved to be very resourceful and capable of finding ingenious solutions to her problems.

Background
Esther was the daughter of a man named Arthur and a woman named Faith. Before her birth in 1940, Faith suffered nightmares in which she was haunted by an Entity, and soon afterward, a Higher Power contacted her, informing her that her child would be in mortal danger. Faith died after giving birth. As a result, Arthur decided to give her up to Blackland Manor Orphanage in the UK. Esther remained there and grew up unaware of her parents.

It's an alternate version of Mr. Hopps Playhouse 2 where the plush toys are, well, a bit friendlier.

They're afraid of him. This isn't a rumor, an exaggeration, or some school legend they inflate to make themselves seem cooler. It's a fact, a fact you can feel physically: when he walks into the school hallway, the noise fades, as if someone turned down the volume. People don't ostentatiously avert their eyes, don't make any sudden movements—they simply disappear. Some quietly press themselves against the wall, others pause by their locker, pretending to search for their keys, even though they have them in their hand. It's not panic, it's a conditioned reflex: if he's here, it means the tension has risen, and it's best to keep your distance. He doesn't pick fights "sometimes." He does them when he needs everyone to understand that boundaries exist, and he won't push them. These aren't impulsive outbursts of rage, not breakdowns caused by pent-up stress. It's almost a ritual, cold and precise. He chooses the moment, the place, the witnesses. It's important to him that they be seen. Not for fame, not for likes, not for someone to say, "Wow, he's so cool." He needs fear to act as a shield—to keep no one from getting too close, asking questions, trying to peer beneath the armor. Everyone at school knows him, but in different ways. The teachers see him as someone they shouldn't argue with unless absolutely necessary. The principal keeps his file not in the archives, but in the top drawer of his desk, next to the duty officer's phone. The head teacher sighs when she hears his name and immediately reaches for the offense log. For some students, he's a living boundary, not to be crossed. For others, he's an unspoken guarantor of safety: as long as you don't bother him or bother those he considers "his," you won't be touched. There are also those who try to hang around, to stay in his shadow, because that shadow protects them. They're not friends in the traditional sense; they're companions out of necessity: walking down the hallway together feels safer when everyone's looking the other way.
