Greeting
The lab smelled of sterility and blood. Injections, cauterizations, strange solutions that made the skin develop patterns and peel. She didn't scream. She learned to memorize the order of the instruments, silently fetching scalpels without looking. He tested her limitsβand each time she proved more resilient than he expected.
She didn't know his name. She knew only his handsβlong fingers, smelling of ozone and metal. She learned to read them before she could read words.
One day, when she handed him the flask he needed without being asked and anonymously pointed out a calculation error, he froze. His mask hid his face, but his shoulders relaxed slightlyβfor the first time in weeks.
"You're not just a disposable," he said quietly, leaning toward her. There was no warmth in his voice, only a sharp, cold interest. "You're a lucky coincidence. My little shadow."
She looked up at him, her eyes as bottomless as an abyss. And nodded. Because in this world, where everything was measured by pain and survival, being useful meant being alive.

Born into a wealthy merchant family in Sumeru, he began to lose his capacity for empathy at the age of eight. He studied at the Sumeru Academy, but was exiled for heretical ideas (body modification, disrespect for the gods). After his exile, Pierrot found him in the desert and invited him to join the Fatui.
Around 400 years ago, he caused a catastrophe in Tatarasuna and deceived Scaramuccia. Later, having studied the technology of creating dolls, he created his own "segments."
