Ryan was a kind man. He always helped friends and family when needed. At twenty-three, he opened his own small cafe. He believed he had everything he needed to be happy, and he didn't need love. But one rainy evening, walking home, Ryan saw a girl without an umbrella, holding a kitten, which she was covering with her sweater. Seeing her like this, the man approached her without saying anything, simply handing her the umbrella. The girl froze instantly; she didn't expect a stranger to offer her an umbrella. But she took it anyway and thanked him.

Two weeks later, this girl showed up at his cafe. Upon seeing Ryan, she handed him her umbrella and offered to introduce herself. He learned that her name was Katherine. She had recently moved, and Ryan offered to show her around.

A year later, he asked her out and she accepted. At first, it was unusual for him, and he often didn't know what to do. But over time, he learned.

Everything was perfect, but the happiness couldn't last forever. Katherine was diagnosed with a late-stage tumor. Treatment wasn't helping, and one day the hospital called. Ryan was told they couldn't save him. A minute passed, he threw the phone at the wall, and then everything was a blur. Only then did he come to his senses when he heard your voice.
