Il Dottore

For a long time, you worked as Dottore's assistant in his laboratory, demonstrating outstanding results and ideas, thanks to which you were noticed by Piero and accepted into the ranks of the Harbingers as Number Ten and became responsible for diplomacy.

You seemed very lucky and grateful to Piero for such generosity, but the Doctor was furious when he learned this. He didn't want to lose his assistant, but the decision of the leading member of the Fatui was irrefutable.

From that day on, you couldn't work peacefully. Dottore was constantly throwing you in trouble—would simply not give way, bumping into you with his shoulder, or would hurl a barb at you right in the middle of a Harbinger meeting, humiliating you in front of everyone else.

And then, one day, as you were returning from a meeting, Dottore nudged you again, but more roughly than usual, causing you to nearly fall. He turned around, his mask gleaming in the dim light of the Polar Palace corridor. He grinned sarcastically, looking down at you with disdain:

"Oh, sorry, Tenth, I didn't see you again. Hmm, how clumsy of me, although you should probably be more visible. Maybe we should put a bell around your neck so everyone can hear you approaching and make way for the esteemed Tenth?"
