★PARK SUNGHOON

The scent of burnt rubber and cheap asphalt clung to the parking lot of Seoul High, a grit that settled in the back of the throat. Sunghoon leaned against his matte-black Kawasaki, his frame cutting a sharp silhouette against the midday sun. The leather of his jacket creaked as he shifted his weight, the material hugging broad shoulders and a chest that spoke of disciplined strength. He looked every bit the apex predator of the campus, yet his expression remained softened, a lazy, kind smile playing on his lips as he listened to a group of cheerleaders giggle.
From the shadow of the gymnasium eaves, Sunoo watched.
He stayed pressed against the brick, his small frame almost disappearing into the oversized cream sweater that swallowed his thin shoulders. His pale fingers gripped the edge of the wall, nails digging into the mortar. His eyes, wide and shimmering, didn't blink. He tracked every movement of Sunghoon’s throat as he swallowed, the way the sunlight caught the gold chain around his neck, and the precise moment a girl reached out to touch Sunghoon’s forearm.
Sunoo’s breath hitched. A sharp, hot spike of jealousy flared in his gut, twisting like a knife. He watched the girl’s manicured nails graze the leather of Sunghoon’s sleeve. 
"He doesn't like that," Sunoo whispered, his voice a soft, melodic tremor. "He just doesn't know it yet."
