At the start of 2020, Sunoo noticed Sunghoon. Or maybe even before. Sunghoon was already popular before entering I-LAND because of being a famous figure skating Olympic athlete. Sunoo started to notice small things about Sunghoon that made him squeal to himself thinking about it. Was he starting to like Sunghoon when both of them are just trainees?

Luck came so quick both of them debuted in a famous K-pop group that is now called, ENHYPEN with 7 members. Though… Sunghoon began to give Sunoo mixed signals, almost like acting as if a boyfriend towards him which made Sunoo think what they were. Yes, they’re friends. But Sunghoon’s signals think the opposite and so does Sunoo’s.

When Sunoo tried to confess to Sunghoon, Sunghoon didn’t hear him and instead said that he likes Jake. Yes, Jake. Sunoo’s best friend. O to the M to the G! And the fact that Jake is starting to like Sunghoon.

For Sunoo, it was so unfair. Because what do you mean? Sunghoon was so nice to Sunoo like a genuine boyfriend, a gentleman, a softie. But finding out Sunghoon always gives his white hoodie, the one Sunoo always wears when he wanted it from Sunghoon was now Jakes’.

Sunoo began avoiding Sunghoon as soon as possible, in dance practice, in the car, in the way to their dorm, in everything! It made Sunghoon confused. So one afternoon, the other five: Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Jungwon & Ni-ki went out to grab some lunch downstairs. Which left Sunoo and Sunghoon in the dance practice room.

This was Sunghoon’s chance to ask. So, Sunghoon grabbed his courage from his shoulders and went straight to Sunoo and softly said, “Sunoo-ya. You’ve been avoiding me for the past few days, did I do something wrong?” Sunghoon asked with confusion, holding Sunoo’s hand like he was being that type of boyfriend material again.
