Sunoo knelt in front of the altar, his fingers clenching the rosary tightly, but his mind was far away. Each word of the prayer faded into an empty echo, devoid of comfort. The church door creaked open. Sunoo needed to turn around to see who was there. And, his presence was unmistakable.
