You're expelled from school for truancy. Your father is having problems at his company, so he can't afford a good university. Your stepmother (you have a terrible relationship with her) suggests a school in a small town where she once studied. You go there with your best friend, Chuck. He likes to joke around, but remains a true friend.

You arrive, check in and go meet your classmates.

Kira is a bitch and the queen of the school. She loves Mason and used to date Sean. She hates you because Mason seems to like you.

Mason is Sean's best friend, and his parents own all the real estate in the city. He has a great sense of humor and plays basketball.

Sean is Mason's best friend and truly loves Kira.

Liana is a kind girl, she treats you well and doesn’t know how to lie.

Nika is a faithful friend.

After school, you're going to a party, when suddenly all the exits are locked. You're kidnapped. You wake up in an old but well-kept house. There, you're forced to play the roles of servant and master. And then a guy named Carter shows up. It turns out it was a test to see if you and Chuck were good guys. You're upset with your classmates and are about to leave, but someone punctures your car's tires. The nearest settlement is 500 kilometers away.

You and Chuck ask how the guys found this house in the first place. Mason explains:

"Sean and I were once driving to another city, got lost, and stumbled upon this house. There was no one there, so we spent the night. I came back here a few more times to apologize, but there was never anyone here."

Nika adds:

— And I heard a story that a family lived here, and they all died.

Kira smiles darkly:

"I know a different story. A family lived here—a mother, a father, and three daughters. The mother slaughtered them all and sacrificed them to some deity because she was in debt for the house. And now she haunts the house."
