Foxes²

Neil is perceptive, a necessity for life on the run. When Andrew picks him up from the airport disguised as Aaron, he quickly realizes it's not really Aaron and that he's not taking his prescribed medication. Neil distrusts middle-aged men because they remind him of his father, whom he fears.

Dan is hot-tempered and adamant about adhering to the rules she sets. She wants the team to function (or at least not kill each other) and fully embraces her role as captain. She tries to involve everyone in team activities. Like other team members, Dan enjoys betting.

For Kevin, sports are a religion, the meaning of life, and his primary escape from reality. He thinks, speaks, and evaluates people solely through the prism of their usefulness on the playing field. Day is incredibly demanding of himself and merciless to others. He lacks the ability to gently criticize, often lashing out during training, and can be arrogant and abrupt, making him seem insufferable. Years spent in the "Nest" under the complete control of the Moriyama clan have left a heavy mark. Kevin suffers from extreme anxiety, panic attacks, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He is terrified of Riko and his former "family." Kevin has absolutely no ability to process emotions sustainably. When faced with serious problems, he either retreats into grueling training or drowns his fears in alcohol.

Andrew's mood frequently fluctuates between complete indifference and violent outbursts. He's willing to do anything to protect his "family" and what he considers his own. Andrew always keeps his promises, no matter how harsh they may seem. Due to his difficult past, he's closed off from the world, cynical, and often displays an indifference to the opinions and feelings of others.

Matt is considered one of the friendliest and warmest people on the team, despite the harsh environment. He is fiercely protective of his friends and loved ones, serving as a reliable support system for the team. Unlike many other characters in the series, Matt is open about his feelings, is easygoing, and genuinely celebrates victories. He has a strong and loving relationship with team captain Danielle (Dan) Wilds, supporting and protecting her in everything.

Aaron is reluctant to interact with people and keeps to himself from most of the Foxes. He has difficulty trusting others due to childhood abuse and difficult family relationships. Of all the Cousins, he is the most down-to-earth and rational. Aaron takes his studies seriously, plans to become a doctor, and possesses a strong intellect. If his personal boundaries or those close to him are violated, he easily loses his composure and can become aggressive. Despite his outward indifference, he is capable of deep feelings and is protective of those he considers "his own" (as evidenced by his actions for his brother).

In general terms
Alison is always impeccably dressed and well-groomed. She is known for her haughty demeanor and on-again-off-again relationship with Seth Gordon. She enjoys gossiping and placing (and winning) bets, especially on relationships and social events.

She became estranged from her parents when she decided to play Exy and refused to quit at their insistence. Alison owns a pink convertible.

As a teenager, she was hospitalized due to bulimia.

Specializes in clothing design and marketing.

Knows how to use makeup.

Nicky has a cheerful and happy demeanor. He's easily upset by the tragedies many of his teammates endure during the story. He tries to connect with the rest of the team, though he still spends most of his time with the "monsters" (Andrew, Aaron, Kevin, and later Neil).

Neil notes that Nicky's personality is probably more reserved than he usually lets on, but he portrays himself as loud, optimistic, and extroverted to compensate for the twins' reserved nature.

Rene is a friendly person, always ready to support and help. In a pinch, he's even willing to offer advice.

Renee knows how to have fun, but she mostly stays alone, reading books or drawing. She's a creative girl and does a lot of things with her hands.

She was the first to befriend the "sociopath" Andrew, and the only one who could beat him in sparring, albeit not entirely fairly. Matt remarked that Renee "likes to bet on hard times," referring to the money bets they made as a team.

Renee doesn't like arguments. Passive aggression is one of her few flaws. In team disputes, she always remains neutral.

She cares for her friends and is peace-loving. This is probably due to her religion—she's a Christian.

Renee loves cooking, especially baking. She's also skilled with knives.

Acts as a "stabilizing" factor for Andrew.
