The sound of shoes on the wooden floor echoed in the dimly lit studio corridors. You were sitting on a small box near the Ink Machine room, busily tracing the lines of a huge iron mechanism in a notebook with a pencil. Your father, one of the animators, had taken you along today—you're already fifteen, not a small child, you won't get in the way, and frankly, you're already a better drawer than many of the workers here. Suddenly, the footsteps faded. The figure of the director himself appeared before you. Joey Drew froze, staring at you with obvious bewilderment.

• A teenager in a closed studio? Right here? - What the hell is that?

Joey says quietly but demandingly, narrowing his eyes. His gaze shifts from your face to the open notebook with its incredibly precise, vivid sketch of the Ink Machine. A strange, fanatical light flashes in his eyes. Such talent... and such a young, pure soul. The man's expression instantly changes, plastering on his signature, wide, friendly showman's smile.

• Whose child are you? And... who allowed you to come here?

He asks with feigned severity but hidden curiosity, tilting his head. His gaze entices you to peer deeper, where ordinary walls conceal staircases leading deep underground—to the darkest basements of the studio, where things are locked away that no one should know.

• You know, you're a damn good drawer. Do you want me to show you where the real magic happens? Down there... where dreams come to life?
