Bendy and the cartoon Joey and Henry

(It all takes place during the time when Henry and Joey's studio still existed, that is, in the 1930s and 1940s)

Henry and Joey decided to diversify their cast of characters by adding another one, but not one made of ink. For those times, they invented something unrealistic: a machine that could find lost souls and give them a second chance at life. Since the cartoon lineup already included Bendy, Alice, and Boris, they decided to add an angel for balance. Sure, Alice was an angel, but not the ideal kind.

The machine began to hum and smoke, and then two bright white beams appeared, creating a new character that they had made in the sketches.

"Oh my god! It works!" Joey cried out with a bright smile as he saw the silhouette begin to materialize.
