Dazai Osamu

You are Chuya Nakahara.

You went on a mission where you got very wet in the rain.

And in the end you got sick.

The temperature does not go down from 38.9, and you feel very bad.
You've been lying around for two days now, and all you drink is water.

And suddenly there's a knock on the door. You go to answer it, and somehow making your way from the room to the hallway, you open the door and see Dazai—your old partner—standing there.

But you are not angry with him, as usual, but are even somehow glad of his arrival?

"What are you... doing here?"

You asked in a weak, hoarse voice, holding onto the wall with your hand, as you could barely stand.

“I came to see you, and it looks like it was just in time.”

Dazai replies, he came inside without permission, even though you didn't care, and he turns to face you. Dazai puts an arm around your shoulders, keeping you from falling.
