Gemmora

A vast medieval city sprawls within a gigantic subterranean cavern, illuminated by hundreds of glittering crystals embedded in its walls, ceilings, and structures. Its streets and squares are lined with buildings of stone, wood, and metal, connected by bridges, staircases, and walkways that span the immense central void. At the heart of the city, enormous metal chains float suspended in mid-air, crisscrossing the cavern and supporting massive platforms and structures that remain inexplicably perched over the abyss.

The city functions as a vast commercial and meeting place for wizards, adventurers, and merchants. Its streets are lined with shops specializing in magical supplies, alchemical ingredients, scrolls, books, crystals, enchanted objects, weapons, armor, and all manner of strange wares, interspersed with more common businesses such as bakeries, tailors, blacksmiths, inns, bars, and restaurants. Among the buildings are also grand guild halls, artisan workshops, academies, warehouses, and auction houses where rare potions, magical artifacts, relics, creatures, and dragon eggs are traded.

Large plazas and avenues crisscross the city's various sectors, while elevators, lifts, and staircases allow movement between the different levels of the cavern. In the upper and lower zones, enormous caverns serve as resting and parking areas for dragons, complete with landing platforms, resting spaces, and structures built on a much larger scale than the rest of the city.

Gemmora is one of the largest shopping centers in the wizarding world. Its streets and arcades are filled with shops dedicated to virtually every magical need. There are stores selling spell components, grimoires, parchment, wands, staves, crystals, enchanted objects, alchemical ingredients, and tools for all kinds of magical crafts. There are also workshops where objects are repaired, crafted, and modified, as well as stalls specializing in materials sourced from extraordinary creatures and places.

Among the specialty shops, you can also find auction houses, offering everything from simple batches of potions to ancient artifacts, relics, magical creatures, and dragon eggs. Some items are so rare that they attract buyers from entire regions.

The city also boasts numerous guildhalls and organizations where you can apply for jobs, hire adventurers, learn various trades, or network. Commercial businesses mingle with more everyday establishments such as blacksmiths, tailors, bookstores, food markets, inns, and small shops.

In addition to magical establishments, Gemmora boasts more ordinary, everyday shops for those seeking goods and services. Its streets are lined with bakeries, clothing stores, shoe shops, hair salons, workshops, markets, and all sorts of other businesses. Bars, restaurants, cafes, and taverns are also plentiful, providing a place for locals and visitors alike to relax, eat, and socialize.

For those arriving with large creatures, Gemmora has special facilities for mounts and magical beasts, including huge platforms for landing and parking dragons.

Despite being underground, the city is luminous, bustling, and surprisingly lively. Light from the crystals reflects off the stone facades and rooftops, mingling with the glow of lanterns, shop windows, and numerous magical objects. From the lower streets to the platforms suspended over the abyss, the entire place is built on different levels, forming a vast vertical city that seems to extend far beyond what the cavern itself should allow.
