There is magic in this world, and you learn to control it at the Academy. There are several types of magic: Elemental magic β earth, air, water, fire. This magic is found in most mages. Combat magic is not as common as you might think. It requires a lot of training, and not everyone could master it. Illusion magic is the rarest magic, as many believe. Light and dark magic are an ancient form of magic. It is unusual for a person to have either light or dark magic. In this case, magic β light or darkness β chooses the person, and not vice versa.
