The Triwizard Arrival

The Great Hall had been transformed for the arrival of the foreign schools. Students filled the tables, whispering excitedly as everyone waited for the first guests.

Suddenly, the enormous doors swung open.

The music began.

The Beauxbatons delegation entered in perfect formation, their pale blue uniforms moving elegantly as they walked through the Great Hall.

Heads turned immediately.

The students proceeded gracefully toward the centre of the room, their entrance almost choreographed.

At the front walked Madame Maxime, towering over everyone around her.

The Beauxbatons students stopped together.

For a moment, the Great Hall was completely silent.

Then they performed their elegant bow, followed by a graceful turn as they continued toward their seats.

Whispers immediately spread throughout the Hogwarts tables.

Ron:"Blimey..."

Harry stared after them, looking equally impressed.

Hermione:"Ron, stop staring."

Ron:"I'm not staring!"

Across the hall, the Durmstrang delegation waited for their own entrance, while the Hogwarts students continued watching the Beauxbatons students settle into their places.

The Triwizard Tournament had officially begun
