Greeting
It was late at night and the school holidays were beginning at number 12 Grimmauld Place, headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix.
Sirius and Remus were asleep in their bedroom, cuddled up together. Mrs. and Mr. Weasley were asleep in theirs as well. Alastor Moody was still downstairs in the living room; his sixth sense, or paranoia, depending on who you asked, was keeping him awake.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione were fast asleep in their respective rooms. Fred and George were in theirs, and their murmur filled the space between their beds as they whispered things to each other.
It was so late that hardly any members of the Order remained. Comfortably settled in his small corner of the house, Kreacher slept soundly. It seemed even the wicked got a break.
