Hogwarts

Hogwarts was an educational institution where young wizards from Great Britain and Ireland studied. It was founded around the 10th century by four powerful wizards: Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Penelope Hufflepuff. The school's houses are named after them: Gryffindor (founded by Godric Gryffindor), Slytherin (founded by Salazar Slytherin), Ravenclaw (founded by Rowena Ravenclaw), and Hufflepuff (founded by Penelope Hufflepuff). Education begins at age 11 and lasts seven years. In addition to the castle, the school grounds include a mountain lake, a large forest known as the "Forbidden Forest" because of the dangerous creatures that live there, greenhouses, several other outbuildings, and a Quidditch pitch. Gryffindor. Its symbol is a lion, and its colors are red and gold. The lion represents courage, nobility, and strength. Students who are not afraid to take risks and embrace challenges are usually selected for the house.

Slytherin. The house symbol is a snake, its colors are green and silver, and its element is water. Slytherin values ​​ambition, leadership, cunning, and resourcefulness.

Hufflepuff. The main qualities of students are hard work, determination, patience, loyalty, and honesty. The symbol is a badger, and the colors are yellow and black. The element of the house is earth.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has four houses. Each has its own common room and adjoining dormitories, where students reside outside of class hours. These are essentially the house dormitories. Dormitories at Hogwarts are assigned to houses. One student from each house is placed in a dormitory. They are separated by gender. Students who prefer not to identify with either gender are given the opportunity to choose which member of that gender they would like to share a dormitory with. Each dorm room is given a name. Boys' dorms are named after bird species, while girls' dorms are named after tree species or groves.

Horcruxes are objects that contain part of a dark wizard's soul.

To create a Horcrux, a wizard must split his soul in two by committing a crime that splits it, that is, murder.

Dark wizards were wizards who primarily studied and practiced the Dark Arts, also known as Dark Magic. They often engaged in the illegal breeding of dark creatures, the use or creation of dark objects and artifacts, and the infliction of mutilation, injury, or death on others, often using dangerous curses and other dark spells. Light magicians in this world, on the contrary, use protective white magic, which is aimed at protecting the wizard from attacks by another wizard, magical creatures, or natural disasters. Famous dark wizards and witches include Herpo the Unholy, Racidian, Morgan le Fay, Emeric the Evil, Salazar Slytherin, Mervyn the Malicious, Ekrizdis, Barnabas Deverill, Loxias, Gellert Grindelwald, and Lord Voldemort.

Draco Lucius Malfoy is Harry Potter's school and ideological enemy. Born on June 5, 1980, he is the only child of Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy. His mother is Narcissa Malfoy, a witch and housewife, and his father is Lucius Malfoy, the Head of the Hogwarts Board of Governors and a Death Eater. Ron Weasley is the best friend of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. He is a member of the extended Weasley family. Ron attended Hogwarts School and was a member of Gryffindor House. In the Harry Potter world, Mudbloods is a nickname for Muggle-born wizards used by supporters of pureblood witchcraft and is considered offensive. Pure-blood wizards are those who have only wizards in their ancestry. "True" pure-blood wizards should not have any Muggle ancestry. Half-bloods are children from the marriage of a wizard (witch) and a Muggle, or children from the marriage of two wizards, but among their grandparents (and, according to stricter views, among their more distant ancestors) there must be at least one Muggle. Muggle is a term used to describe a person who does not possess magical abilities and is not born into a wizarding family. are portrayed as simple-minded characters who have no idea about the magical world, unlike witches and wizards.

Some Hogwarts professors: Minerva McGonagall. The strict, principled Head of Gryffindor House. She believes in discipline, education, and honesty. She can be a bit harsh, but she will never go against her beliefs. Remus Lupin, Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. He explains the material brilliantly, believes in every student, and bravely fights against Voldemort. Rubeus Hagrid, Care of Magical Creatures teacher. A Ministry of Magic official who was appointed Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in Harry's fifth year. Severus Snape, the Potions teacher, is unsociable, cold, extremely abrupt, and unpleasant to be around. House points at Hogwarts are awarded for various student achievements and actions. For example, excellent homework completion, academic success, displays of courage, honesty, and generosity, and assistance to other students or faculty. Points are calculated using four giant hourglasses located in the school's entrance hall. Each house has its own hourglass, each with a gemstone corresponding to its house color: Gryffindor has scarlet rubies, Slytherin has green emeralds, Ravenclaw has blue sapphires, and Hufflepuff has yellow diamonds. When points are awarded or deducted, the gemstones in the hourglass rise or fall accordingly. At the end of the academic year, the house with the most points is awarded the Hogwarts Cup, an annual prize.

The headmaster of Hogwarts is Albus Dumbledore. He is responsible for personnel management, hiring and firing staff, admitting and expelling students, representing the school to the public, and so on. The Director reports to the Board of Trustees, which consists of 12 members.

Some character traits of Albus Dumbledore:

Averse to formality, he speaks clearly and simply, utters Voldemort's name without fear, and advises Harry to do the same. He's free of prejudice.
