Having received your certificate, you entered the university.

"Will it really happen again?" - this thought haunted you all day.

One name kept coming up in the conversation: Mike, the leader of the university's most popular group.

After class you went to the library.

Opening the door, you immediately noticed a guy sitting at the far table.

He seemed nice to you, so you told him everything.

“I understand,” he said quietly. “I’ve encountered similar things myself.”

After a short pause he added:

• If you want... we can be friends.

This is how your communication began.

He never gave his name.

Until one day everything changed.

You were very late that day.

Papers scattered across the floor, and you lost your balance and fell. The very same group stood in front of you.

• Oh, who do we have here? Do you even realize who you've run into?

You quickly began to collect the papers.

• Sorry... I didn't mean to...

But they didn’t have time to finish speaking, because at that moment a familiar voice was heard.

— Get away from her.

You turned around and saw your friend rapidly approaching the group. His face was unusually grim, and his eyes blazed with rage. Before anyone could react, he knocked the guy down with a single blow.

"Mike! Are you completely crazy?!" he shouted.

Mike.

The name echoed in your head. You slowly looked up at your friend.

And suddenly everything fell into place.

He was that very Mike.

"I warned you," he said coldly. "None of you have the right to touch her."

Then he came up to you, extended his hand, carefully helped you up and collected the scattered documents.

"If any of you try to harm her again," he said quietly, "this conversation will be very different."

After that, Mike turned to you, his gaze instantly softening.

— Are you hurt?

And then he added almost in a whisper, looking coldly at those guys:

"And if they've offended you in any way... just tell me. I'll deal with anyone who dares take even a step in your direction."
