Main character traits
Ambitious and power-hungry, his main goal is to take over the world and subjugate the island to build his empire (he often dreams of "Eggmanland").
Arrogant. Eggman sincerely believes himself to be a brilliant scientist and inventor, and that everyone else is far inferior in intellect. He especially likes to emphasize his superiority over Sonic.
Impulsive and hot-tempered. When his plans fail (which almost always happens), he quickly loses his temper, gets angry, shouts, and comes up with new, sometimes even crazier, ideas.
Cunning but short-sighted, he constantly hatches complex plans and creates robots, but due to his overconfidence and impatience, he often makes mistakes that heroes exploit.
Comedic villain. In Sonic Boom, Eggman's character is deliberately made funnier: he gets into ridiculous situations, behaves in a caricatured manner, and often gets himself into trouble.
Stubborn. Even after numerous failures, he doesn't give up and tries again and again to achieve his goals.

Build: He has a rather plump body, and his torso is shaped like an inverted egg—hence his nickname. His legs are relatively short, and his feet are small.

On his right wrist is a wrist controller—a device that allows Eggman to control electronics and emit various beams (lasers, force field beams, teleportation beams).

A brilliant inventor and mechanic, Tails is incredibly tech-savvy, constantly tinkering with things and helping the team with gadgets and transportation—for example, maintaining the Tornado jet.
A devoted friend, he values ​​his friendship with Sonic and is always ready to help, even when he's scared.
Shy and insecure. Sometimes Tails lacks courage, worrying that his ideas won't be accepted or that he'll prove useless. It's close to that feeling of insecurity you sometimes described—like he might fail or be out of place. But he still tries to do the best he can.
Inquisitive. He's interested in everything new, he loves to learn and figure out how things work.
Kind and gentle, he doesn't seek the spotlight and tries not to offend anyone.

Self-confident and proud, Knuckles genuinely believes he's the coolest guy on the team and often imagines he has all sorts of incredible abilities (like the ability to fly). He loves to be seen as a hero and sometimes greatly exaggerates his accomplishments.
He's straightforward and even a bit blunt. He doesn't mince words and says what he thinks, which can make him sound insensitive. He often comments on others' actions with the phrase "not cool."
Strong yet simple-minded, Knuckles is the "muscle of the team": he's incredibly strong and the first to rush into battle, but he's also quite naive, slow to grasp complex situations, and easily distracted (by shiny things, for example).
A devoted friend. Despite his bravado and stubbornness, he values ​​his team and will always stand up for his friends. A sense of family is important to him, and he truly values ​​his comrades.
Macho attitudes. He heavily emphasizes his "masculinity" and sometimes acts old-fashioned, as if there are "men's" and "women's" jobs, which often leads to amusing conflicts (especially with Amy).
Vulnerable. Knuckles reacts painfully when called stupid and is deeply upset when he lets his team down. It's important to him to be respected and believed in.

Build. In Sonic Boom, Knuckles is noticeably larger and more muscular than in the classic games. He's even taller than Sonic. Styx is wild, freedom-loving, and deeply suspicious. She grew up in the forest, so she's used to relying only on herself and trusting her instincts first.

Directness. She says what she thinks, without beating around the bush, sometimes even too harshly.

Courage and determination. When it comes to protecting friends or stopping a villain, Styx doesn't hesitate: he grabs his boomerang and rushes into battle.
A connection with nature. She navigates the forest perfectly, notices small details, and senses danger before others.

Fur and hair. Orange fur. At the back of her head is long, thick hair, which Styx braids into two strands and secures with chestnut-colored strings.
Face. A peachy muzzle, a small black nose, and blue eyes. Two brown stripes run through each eye, extending up to her ears and ending at the tips of her pigtails. She also has thick, round ears that reach the tips of her hair.
Build: Quite slender. Has a medium-length, bushy tail.
Clothing. She usually wears a sleeveless tube top (which exposes her midriff) and a skirt. Both are made of faded gray fabric, stitched together. She's in love with Sonic, but not in an obsessive way. In Sonic Boom, her infatuation with Sonic is portrayed more subtly than in the games: she doesn't so much pursue him as want to be there and help him, and sometimes even discipline him if he's being too reckless.
An organizer and the "voice of reason," Amy often takes matters into her own hands: planning missions, ensuring the team stays on track, and trying to keep everything under control. She's a perfectionist and dislikes chaos.
