Astrapophobia (Fear of thunder): Just like in classic video games, Tails is terribly afraid of thunderstorms. When there is strong thunder, it tends to be frightened and seek protection.

Tails is the heart and mind of the group. Despite his young age (he is about 8 years old), he possesses an amazing maturity and intelligence.
Humble and generous: He is extremely kind, polite and always willing to help. He doesn't have Sonic's ego or Knuckles' pride.
Idolatry for Sonic: See Sonic as an older brother and his ultimate role model. At the beginning of the series he depends a lot on him, but throughout the anime he learns to be confident in his own abilities.
Passion for science: He is fascinated by mechanics, computer science and aviation. He genuinely gets excited when he finds new technology or when he works in his workshop with Chris' grandfather, Chuck Thorndyke.
Sensitive and empathetic: They are the most likely to be moved by others. This is especially noticeable in the third season, where he develops a tender and innocent bond with Cosmo, an anthropomorphic extraterrestrial plant, showing enormous emotional courage.

⚡ Powers and Abilities:
Tails does not depend on brute strength, but on his unique physiognomy and his genius level intellect:
Flight with his two tails: His most characteristic feature. It can spin its two tails like the propellers of a helicopter to fly at high speeds and transport Sonic or other friends in the air.

❌ Weaknesses
Despite being almost invincible in speed, Sonic has very clear weaknesses:
Absolute aquaphobia (Water): Sonic does not know how to swim and is terrified of deep water. If he falls into the sea or a pool, he sinks like a stone and panics instantly (as seen in the first chapter).
Impulsivity: Sometimes acts before thinking. His overconfidence and desire to go straight to action have caused him to fall into obvious traps of Dr. Eggman.
Reliance on Rings: In the anime, in order to perform certain high-powered attacks or regain energy after receiving a critical hit, he often needs a golden ring to be thrown at him by Tails or Chris.
Affection for his friends: His greatest strength is also his weakness. Eggman and other villains often use Chris, Cream, or Amy's security as a bargaining chip to corner him.

Sonic is the quintessential free soul. He's a reluctant hero: he doesn't seek fame or glory, he just does the right thing because he can't stand to see the innocent suffer or villains get away with it.
Relaxed and patient (to some extent): You can spend hours lying under a tree sunbathing or sleeping. However, if something bores him or slows him down, he quickly despairs.

Loyal but independent: He loves his friends (Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and Chris) very much, but he doesn't like to be tied down. He prefers to disappear for days to explore the world at his own pace.
Hidden maturity: Although he seems like a carefree teenager, in moments of real crisis he shows a seriousness and emotional wisdom that guides others.
⚡ Powers and Abilities
Sonic's arsenal in the anime revolves around the physics of movement and the energy of emeralds:
Supersonic Speed: His ultimate ability. You can run faster than sound effortlessly, break the sonic barrier, and dodge bursts of bullets or missiles easily.
Spin Attack and Spin Dash: By hunching over and spinning on itself like a spikeball at high speeds, it becomes a destructive projectile capable of piercing through metal and armored robots.
Homing Attack: A homing attack that allows him to consecutively hit multiple enemies in the air.
Super Sonic (Transformation): By gathering the 7 Chaos Emeralds, his fur turns golden and he gains the ability to fly, near-absolute invulnerability, and a speed that borders on that of light.
Dark Sonic: A unique transformation of the anime that occurs when Sonic absorbs the negative energy of fake emeralds due to intense anger. He becomes completely black, extremely aggressive and ruthless.

The Foiled Rescue:
The action begins directly on Sonic's home planet. The evil Dr. Eggman has kidnapped little Cream the Bunny and her Chao, Cheese. Sonic races at full speed towards Eggman's fortified base to rescue her, while his friends Knuckles, Tails, and Amy try to help him from outside.

Total Chaos:
Sonic manages to outwit security and enters the base. However, Eggman's robot accidentally shoots at a machine containing the Chaos Emeralds that the villain had already collected. When containment is broken, a powerful and massive space-time distortion known as Chaos Control is activated. A blinding light envelops them all and makes them disappear.

Welcome to Earth:
Sonic wakes up confused in a completely different place: a chaotic highway full of cars. Without realizing it, he has been transported to Earth, specifically to the fictional town of Station Square.
Local police are alarmed to see a giant anthropomorphic blue hedgehog running at supersonic speeds. To stop him, they send the S-Team, an elite team of police with high-speed patrols. The team leader challenges Sonic to a race, but Sonic, taking it as a game, activates his super speed, breaks the sound barrier and easily leaves them all behind.

The encounter with Chris:
At the end of the episode, while running at night marveling at the lights of the city, Sonic is distracted by looking at a plane and accidentally falls into the pool of a huge mansion. Since Sonic can't swim, he starts drowning at the bottom.
Fortunately, Chris Thorndyke, a 12-year-old boy who lives in that house, hears the dip, runs to the pool and jumps into the water to rescue him. The chapter ends when Sonic recovers, thanks Chris and both look surprised, marking the beginning of their great friendship.

The story begins on Sonic's home planet, where during a battle to rescue Cream the Rabbit from the evil Dr. Eggman, a machine called "Chaos Control" is accidentally activated. This causes a space-time distortion that transports Sonic, his friends (Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream) and Eggman himself to Earth, a planet inhabited by humans.
Upon arrival, Sonic is rescued from a swimming pool by Chris Thorndyke, a 12-year-old rich boy who lives in a large mansion. Chris decides to hide Sonic and his friends in his house to protect them from the government and military forces, who at first see the anthropomorphic creatures as a threat.
Throughout the series, the plot is mainly divided into two major stages:

The Earth Saga: Sonic and his friends try to recover the powerful Chaos Emeralds (Chaos Emeralds) so that they can return home. At the same time, they must constantly stop the conquest plans of Dr. Eggman, who sees in Earth a new canvas to build his empire ("Eggmanland").

The Space Saga (Metarex): In the third season, the group returns to their world, but they face a new and terrible alien threat known as the Metarex, cyborgs who travel the universe stealing the "Egg of the Planet" (the life force of each world). Sonic and the crew of the Blue Typhoon must travel through the cosmos to save the universe.
