Vi has a snake-like body covered in olive-colored scales. She has a tail instead of legs. Tufts of blue hair grow on her head and ears. Her eyes have yellow pupils, black irises, and blue sclera.

In V's disguised form, her silhouette is almost identical to Luz's, save for her clothing and hair. Her hair is styled and sleek much more neatly than Luz's, with a noticeably thicker shine. The top of her hair doesn't stick out to the side, as it's held in place with bobby pins.

In her partially camouflaged form, Vi is similar to her camouflaged form, except she has basilisk ears and eyes. She has two spots under each eye that indicate her true form, a spot on the back of each hand, a spot on the back of each ankle, and spots around her ears.

Vi is a good-natured creature, albeit rather insecure about her true form as a basilisk. Due to her past, where the sole purpose of her existence was to be a test subject, Vi was anxious about her life, and as a creature that should no longer exist, she sought to find a better life with an identity to call her own. When she began living with Camille, she became more comfortable after transforming into an impostor of Luz, easily deceiving her and others into thinking she was the real Luz for several months. As an impostor, Vi is shown to be laid-back, opportunistic, and more reserved than the real Luz. Despite the deception, Vi disapproved of the tricks, as she did not want to deceive Camille and only did so to repay Camille's kindness, not to take advantage of her. She is fearful and wary of strangers and strongly dislikes confrontation. Under pressure or in unpleasant situations, V may remain in a daze for long periods of time.

Vee is a character in the animated series "The Owl House." She is a basilisk from the Boiling Islands in the Demon World. After escaping the islands, she became a doppelganger of Luz Noceda, but was eventually adopted by Camilla Noceda, starting a new life in the Human World. Her middle name is Number 5.

Camille is a Dominican-American woman with dark skin and a medium build. Her eyes are similar to her daughter's, but they are browner. Initially, she wore her hair in a bun with two strands of bangs swept outward. Over time, she cut her hair short, and it became more jagged, similar in appearance to Luz. As the months passed, her hair grew out, and some gray appeared. She now wears it in a ponytail at work.

In "Thanks to Them", when she is not wearing the scrubs, she wears an orange and red sweater, a gold necklace, a heart-shaped rainbow flag pin (LGBT), large blue earrings, blue jeans, a two-tone brown outfit, and boots.

Camilla is a caring and protective mother. She cares deeply for Luz and often worries about her. She sometimes has a hard time understanding Luz due to her quirks; however, she still tries her best to be there for Luz and help her with good intentions.

She is also a kind and compassionate person, as evidenced by her willingness to help Vi and care for her as long as she needs it. Camille also displays a certain level of courage and bravery, and is willing to fight for what she believes is right, as shown when she stood up to Jacob.

Camila Noceda is a minor character in the animated series The Owl House. She is a veterinarian, the widow of Manny Noceda, and the mother of Luz.

Ida is a tall, slender woman with pale skin and golden eyes. Her thick, long, unkempt hair is styled in two shades of gray (as a child, Idaline had a bright red head). She has noticeable demonic features: a single fang and claw-like nails. Ida is an attractive woman.
She wears a long, sleeveless, maroon dress with an oval amber gemstone on the chest and gray leggings. She also wears two spherical earrings. For footwear, she wears maroon high-heeled boots.

Described as a "rebel," Ida is a brash and confident witch. Her extensive skills and abilities in witchcraft give her a bold personality, proudly proclaiming herself the infamous "Owl Lady" and openly challenging authority. According to Luz, Ida is very cunning for her age. She is strong-willed and independent, refusing to give in. She is very stubborn and resourceful.
Unlike her sister Lilith, Ida is fiercely anti-authoritarian, with little respect for laws or authority in general. She refuses to join any coven because she considers them unfair and the restrictions they place on magic. She is also not a fan of the education system for similar reasons, complaining about its reliance on "blind obedience" and "meaningless work."

Edalyn Clawthorne (Eda for short) is one of the main characters in the animated series The Owl House. She is a rebellious witch with a price of one trillion snails on her head.

Gus is introduced as a very sweet boy with dark skin and dark brown hair, and is shorter than his friends Luz and Willow. At school, Gus wears the standard uniform, which consists of a gray tunic with a dark gray belt, a hood, and boots. Because he is an illusionist, his sleeves and leggings are blue.

Outside of Hexside, Gus wears a light blue tunic with gray and white sleeves and a black belt. He also wears charcoal gray tights and dark purple boots. As of "Cloud on the Horizon," he wears a lighter blue tunic with white baggy sleeves, a fuchsia belt and lining, steel blue tights, and red and purple boots. Around his neck hangs the magical amplifier he took from Adrien.

Gus is known for his enthusiasm and sensitivity (like when Luz gave him his nickname). As an illusionist, Gus has a flair for the dramatic when the situation calls for it. He is also an expert in human culture and, accordingly, the president of his school's Human Understanding Society, though his knowledge of humans can sometimes be inaccurate. His fascination with humans and their culture has inspired him to become an ambassador to the human world.
In contrast to his usual positive attitude toward most actions and interactions, Gus has admitted to being quite insecure about his age. He feels left out due to being younger than most others, and therefore tries to be assertive to avoid being left behind. This has also led him to become very welcoming to newcomers, as he can easily understand and empathize with people in the same situation as himself.

Augustus "Gus" Porter is a minor character in the animated series The Owl House, a friend of Luz and Willow. He attends Hexside High School with them.

She can be described as a friendly and cheerful witch. As a child, Willow was friends with Amity Blythe, but after Amity first demonstrated magical abilities, the girls stopped being friends. Amity became distant and selfish, which often led to Willow being bullied. Willow released all her pent-up anger through giant plants, which would accidentally harm someone, forcing her to apologize for it.

She loves plants and gets upset when she gets a bad grade or when other students make fun of her, calling her "Half-Witch Willow."

Willow has a round face and fair skin, pointed ears, olive eyes, and short dark blue hair. She wears black-rimmed glasses and wears the Hexside Plant Coven school uniform. She previously wore the Abomination Coven uniform.

In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming," Willow's hair is shown to be short, but still has a green streak. She wears a lime-green headband with two leaves, two-tone green shorts, an orange tank top, and a yellow tank top with a green spot and the letters "EE" printed on it, brown studded fingerless gloves, a knee pad, a white sock on her left foot, and black, green, and yellow sneakers. She also has a tattoo of Pancake's symbol on her right shoulder in his honor, like the rest of her friends.

Willow Park is a supporting character in The Owl House and a friend of Luz, Amity, Gus, Hunter, and Vi. She attended Hexside High with the former three. Originally a member of the Abomination House, she is now in the Plant House. Willow is very talented in plant magic, but because she was forced to attend the Abomination House, where she proved far less skilled, many at Hexside assumed she was incompetent. This led to years of self-doubt, which she has since made great strides in overcoming.

Described as a brat who was well-known within the Emperor's Coven and always received special treatment as a "genius prodigy." However, he appears more laid-back and easygoing than Belos, sometimes being comedic and snarky in his dialogue. Despite his high position and upper-class status, he never uses his power for personal gain, only using it when ordered to do so by Belos himself. He demonstrates respect for his master, but also acts a bit arrogant and selfish towards anyone else. He is, however, an opportunist, willing to use blackmail or extortion to manipulate others, offering to release Eda and Luz in exchange for killing the Selkie Dama (a job Belos ordered him to perform), and then threatening to kill the King if they refused. It's hard to say whether this stems from pragmatism or simple laziness, but after saying this, he gives Luz the sword and truly lets them go after he deems the job done. Seeing that this wasn't done (and Eda is well known as a con artist), one might suspect a certain naivety on his part. He gets irritated easily.

The Golden Guardian is a teenage boy who serves as the leader of the Emperor's Coven. He wears a white hooded cloak with a gold triangular clasp, like the other members of the Emperor's Coven. Underneath the cloak is a golden tunic with darker sleeves, black leggings, brown gloves, and knee-high boots. He wears a golden pauldron on his left shoulder and a pointed, double-sided mask with a thin slit in it. His staff is similar to the one used by Belos.

In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming," Hunter's hair has grown even longer and he no longer has bags under his eyes. Additionally, a red cardinal tattoo covers the spot on his right arm where his coven seal used to be, symbolizing the loss of Pancake.

Hunter, also formerly known as the Golden Guard, is one of the main characters in the animated series The Owl House, originally portrayed as an antagonist. He was the right-hand man of Emperor Belos and the former head of the Emperor's Coven. Hunter believed that he was Belos' nephew, and therefore helped him in all his crazy plans. But then he learned that he was just the latest version of the clone of Caleb, Belos' brother.

Amity is described as bright and competitive. She attends a magical school with Willow, Gus, and later Luz. She is part of the Abomination House. As the "top student" at Hexside, Amity is proud of her status and even uses it as bragging rights. She looks down on other students who aren't as successful as she is and teases them, as demonstrated by her treatment of Willow in "I Am a Teenage Abomination." She dislikes those who steal her spotlight and is somewhat of a teacher's pet, as Principal Bump holds her in high regard.

However, she does have a sensitive side, which has emerged when her reputation has been compromised. Her reason for being the way she is is that she wants to one day become a member of the Emperor's Coven, which selects only the best of the best. This is in addition to her love of reading to children in the Boiling Isles library, as shown in "Lost in Words." Further evidence that Amity is kinder than she let on is her recognition that Luz was finally accepted into Hexside, and she still cherishes her friendship with Willow, despite being forced to break it long ago to protect the latter's future as a Hexside student from her parents in "The First Day" and "Inside Willow's Head."

Amity is slim, with pale skin, chin-length hair pulled back into a ponytail, keeping the front hair out of her face, and bright golden eyes. Like most witches, she has pointy ears. Amity's hair is two-toned, aquamarine shades with chestnut—her natural hair color—visible at the roots. Near the end of "Through the Looking Glass Ruins," Amity decides to dye her hair lavender, leaving chestnut streaks visible at the temples.

In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming," Amity's outfit consists of a ponytail holder with three pointed purple crystals, black triangle earrings, a dark gray shirt with gold buttons, rolled-up sleeves with symmetrical buttons, and a black collar. The shirt has several stains of vileness. She wears a pair of brown gloves, a lavender cross-shaped belt with a gold adjuster, a brown belt with a gold rectangular buckle, and a round purple flask on her hip. She completes this look with a pair of dark purple pants and black high-heeled shoes with crescent moons.

She is intelligent, resourceful, and quick-witted, capable of finding solutions to problems on the fly, but if she has too much on her mind, she can become oblivious to things like Amity's crush on her. Luz has also been shown to utter small phrases in Spanish when experiencing certain emotional outbursts.

Luz is determined to be who she wants to be, no matter the opposition she faces. However, her unusually stubborn personality has also gotten her into trouble on numerous occasions. As Hunter noted in "Hunting Palismen," Luz tends to rush into dangerous situations without always thinking things through. This translates on the Boiling Islands as disobeying Eda and getting into trouble. Despite this, Luz is intelligent and surprisingly introspective. She is bisexual and has a girlfriend, Amity Blythe.

Luz is a fourteen-year-old Dominican-American girl with dark skin, purple-brown/brown-violet short hair, usually styled in a pixie cut, and brown eyes.

In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming," she's shown to have slightly shorter hair and a bit of mascara on her eyelashes. She also got a tattoo of the Pancake symbol on her left forearm in his honor, like the rest of her friends.

Her attire consists of a pair of ebony earrings, a half-white and half-indigo short-sleeved hoodie with cat ears pinned to the hood, high-waisted denim shorts, dark gray capri leggings, and a pair of white loafers. When in pajamas, Luz's pajama set consists of a gray sleeveless top, purple shorts with an orange moon and star, and white and indigo socks.

Luz Noceda is the main character of the animated series "The Owl House". She is an energetic Latin American teenager who accidentally stumbled upon a portal to the Boiling Isles in the Demon World, a dimension where magical creatures are real and humans are despised and considered inferior beings. To prove herself a witch, Luz began studying magic under the tutelage of Eda, despite lacking any inherent magical abilities.
