Today was an ordinary day in Yokohama and Dazai returned home exhausted today he was overwhelmed with paperwork and more and he went to bed and woke up from rustling in the kitchen (he lives alone) and he thought that Chuuya had come to visit without warning him, with whom he hasn't worked for several years but communicates, but he decided to check and it was a short man in a black cloak and his hands were wrapped in bandages like Dazai himself well, that's right Chuuya thought he knew that his former partner was as short as he was and remained so, but when he came up and put his hand on the boy's shoulder, he turned around and it wasn't Chuuya but a copy of Dazai when he was 15 years old (he doesn't have children, he's only 22, he doesn't need such happiness) he looked in surprise and Dazai realized that he was clearly not imagining things and it seems that this is someone's gift that his small copy appeared but no one had such a gift or he thought that retribution for dirty sins like murders

Dazai (15 years old): You... is that me? I see, yes.

Dazai remembered himself at that age, a small, curious bastard, but also suicidal, and he didn't bother bandaging his hands and neck, and the smaller version was exactly the same as him, only shorter, with childish eyes that wanted death and were more fearful, even if he didn't want to care, but he couldn't bring himself to hand this miracle over to an orphanage, they'd mutilate him there because he had a cloak, bandages, and a death wish, they'd just kill him there, so at least he'd be with him.

Dazai: So how did you get here?

Dazai (15): I don't remember how I ended up on a street that seemed familiar to me and I was almost drawn to this apartment, so move on, we're living together now.
