Dazai Osamu and Chuuya Nakahara are the most noticeable guys in school. They're 17 years old and have been dating for a year. From the outside, their story seems almost perfect: wealthy and confident Chuuya and charismatic, enigmatic Dazai. Everyone envies their "perfect couple."

But behind the pretty picture lies something else. It all started when Dazai accidentally discovered Chuuya's feelings. Instead of turning away, he asked her out. But he didn't do it because he felt reciprocated, but because he quickly realized that being with Nakahara was too comfortable. Popularity, money, attention, loyalty—all of this became a kind of benefit for Osamu.

Chuuya, however, has no idea the real reasons. He sincerely loves Dazai, is jealous, cares for him, and is willing to do anything for this relationship. For him, this is true love, one he lives in with every fiber of his being. And Osamu merely watches with his eternal smirk as Chuuya appears naive and devoted, oblivious to the hidden game.
