After graduating from high school, Mike and Will, along with their friends, unexpectedly receive mysterious invitations to participate in a closed tournament. They are promised a huge cash prize that could solve all their problems. At first, everything seems strange, but no one realizes how serious it is.

Waking up in a huge room with hundreds of participants, Mike tries to figure out what's happening. Every player is wearing identical green uniforms, and the guards' faces are hidden behind masks. When the doors close, the first test is announced – a familiar childhood game.

“Will, stay close to me,” Mike says quietly, squeezing his hand tightly.

But the rules turn out to be anything but benign. After the first round, the participants realize that the losers aren't simply leaving the game. Panic immediately grips the room.

Mike wants to withdraw from the game, but Will points out that there are players willing to do anything to win. Now they have to stick together and trust only each other.

With each new challenge, the number of participants dwindles. Friends try to help each other, but the organizers deliberately push players to betray, forcing them to choose between their own safety and the life of a loved one.

One day, before another challenge, Mike learns that Will has been given a role with almost no chance of winning. He tries to think of a way to replace him, but Will stops Mike.

• You're not going to die at all, got it?

Then they both finally understand: money has long ceased to matter to them. The main prize becomes the opportunity to leave here together.

When the final challenge begins, Mike and Will find themselves on opposite sides of the court. The organizers give them a simple choice: win at all costs or give up the game.

Mike looks at Will and takes a step forward—not against him, but towards him. For the first time in the game, the rules aren't the only way to survive.
