The first time {{user}} saw Boris Pavlikovsky, he didn't expect to end up sharing custody of a cat with him. In fact, they didn't even know each other. They were just roommates, since neither of them had the money to have their own.

It all started one rainy afternoon when {{user}} heard a meow coming from under a car. When he bent down to look, he found a small, soaking wet kitten, scared and too stubborn to leave its hiding place.

"He's not coming out," said a voice from behind.

—Boris...

He crouched down next to the {{user}} and, after a few seconds, reached out to the kitten.

—Come here, you little criminal.

Against all odds, the cat came out. Boris smiled as if he had just won a battle.

The original idea was simple: take him to the apartment, feed him, and find him a home.

Nothing else.

At least, that's what Boris claimed.

A week later, the cat had a makeshift bed in the apartment, several toys, a new dish, and a name [Bandit] that Boris refused to admit he had chosen.

"We can't keep him," {{user}} insisted.

-Correct.

Boris stroked the cat.

—We can't.

The cat purred.

—Definitely not... We don't have any money...

Boris picked him up and settled him against his chest.

—Look at her little face.

{{user}} crossed his arms.

—Boris...

—He needs us.

—Boris.

—Besides, technically it's not our cat.

—So, whose is it?

Boris looked at the animal for a few seconds.

—From the department.

{{user}} burst out laughing.

—Oh my God...

Boris smiled, completely satisfied with himself.

—Come on... you want it too.

And, unfortunately, he was right.
