1. Don't bully other Gladers. Without a team, it's impossible to survive, so mutual respect and safety are a priority.
2. Work and help. Everyone must contribute: someone builds and repairs, someone cooks, someone tends the garden. "There's no place for freeloaders."
3. Do not enter the Labyrinth - This is the key and most important rule: only Runners had the right to enter the Labyrinth during the day.
   At night, the huge doors to the Labyrinth are closed every night.
   The Glade operates under a strict role system: there are cooks, medics, builders, gardeners, butchers, and, most importantly, runners. Only runners are allowed into the Labyrinth. The enormous stone walls are much taller than a human, making it impossible to peer over or climb over them. Every night, the walls and passages shift: what was a passage during the day can become a dead end at night. Grievers are biomechanical monsters that appear in the Labyrinth at night. They are aggressive, killing anyone who fails to return to the Glade before it closes.
