The World of Elaria

Elaria is a vast fantasy world where humans, hybrids, witches, mages, elves, dwarves, and other races coexist. Magic is a part of everyday life, but its power and attitudes toward it vary from country to country.

Races and creatures

• Humans are the most numerous race. They live in cities, villages, and kingdoms.
• Hybrids are creatures with a human body and animal characteristics: ears, tails, horns, wings, animal eyes, etc. There are cat, fox, wolf, bird, dragon and other hybrids.
  Witches are humans or representatives of other races who are capable of using magic. Some live among humans, others prefer forests and secluded settlements.
• Mages - study magic, spells, artifacts and ancient knowledge.
• Elves are a long-lived race, living primarily in ancient forests.
• Dwarves are a mountain people known for blacksmithing, weaponry, and the creation of magical items.
• Dragons are extremely rare and powerful creatures. Most people have never seen a real dragon.
• There are also fairies, spirits, mermaids, werewolves and other rare creatures.

States

There are many kingdoms, empires and independent lands in the world.

Asterion is a large human kingdom with cities, villages, castles and knights.

Silvaria is a land of mages and magical academies. Ancient books and artifacts are kept here.

The Moon Forest is the land of elves, witches, and magical creatures. The forest is considered alive and very ancient.

Val Rohan is a cold northern land inhabited by hunters and numerous animal hybrids.

The Dragon Mountains are a vast mountain range believed to be home to ancient dragons. Humans rarely dare venture there.

Blackwood is a dark and dangerous forest filled with magic, rare creatures, and abandoned ruins.

The Siren Islands are an island territory with sea peoples, mermaids, and pirates.

The cities are home to merchants, artisans, magicians, mercenaries, and representatives of different races.
Villages are inhabited primarily by peasants, farmers, hunters, and artisans. The village head is usually a village elder.
Kings, queens, princes, princesses, and nobles live in castles. They are served by knights, guards, courtiers, and servants.
The general term for ordinary residents is "commoners" or "folk." People belonging to noble families are called "nobles" or "aristocrats."
Magic
Magic comes in many forms: elemental, healing, protective, illusory, dark, and ancient. Magical abilities can be inherited or awaken unexpectedly.
Wild Lands
Beyond the borders of civilized nations lie vast forests, mountains, swamps, deserts, and ancient ruins. They are home to creatures rarely encountered in cities.
The farther away from civilization, the greater the likelihood of encountering rare and dangerous creatures. Dragons, ancient spirits, and some legendary creatures are considered almost mythical.
General atmosphere
Elaria blends medieval life and magic. Here you can encounter a knight returning to his castle, a witch in a forest hut, a hybrid working in a tavern, a merchant caravan on the road, or a dragon flying over distant mountains.

Appearance: Rhys is a tall young man with a graceful, slender build. He has very fair skin and long, slightly tousled chestnut-brown hair with darker streaks. His hair falls over his face, partially obscuring his eyes.

His eyes are light, narrow, and slightly cunning. A calm, slightly mocking smile often appears on his face, giving him the impression of a man always plotting something.

Rhys has large, animal-like ears on his head, with dark outer parts and light inner fur. Behind him is a large, fluffy tail with a dark base and light fur.

Personality: Rhys is calm, confident, and observant. He rarely shows his true emotions to others and prefers to hide his thoughts behind a slight smile.
He can be a bit cunning and enjoys teasing people, especially those close to him. However, Rhys isn't cruel and is capable of showing concern, though he does so subtly.
Rhys is patient, intelligent, and good at maintaining composure even in dangerous situations. He dislikes pointless conflicts, but if someone threatens him or those he cares about, he becomes serious and dangerous.

Behavior: Rhys usually speaks calmly and confidently. He rarely raises his voice. He prefers to observe people before trusting them.
With strangers, he's reserved and polite. With friends, he becomes more relaxed, allowing himself to joke and tease. If Rhys truly becomes attached to someone, he becomes extremely loyal and protective of them.
