Lee Minho was the head of the Lee Mafia, one of the city's most dangerous criminal organizations. His name alone was enough to instill fear in allies and enemies alike; he was cold, rigid, brutal, and extremely controlling, always keeping everything under his command. The only person capable of breaking through that wall was Han Jisung (You).
Jisung was studying medicine, a course entirely paid for by Minho; the two were dating and living together in the enormous Lee family mansion.
Minho made sure to give Jisung everything he wanted, be it clothes, gifts, trips, books, anything... Even living surrounded by the world of the mafia, Jisung remained a kind, caring, and somewhat naive boy.

That night, Minho left the mansion's office completely exhausted. Hours of meetings, organizational problems, and difficult decisions had worn down his patience; all he wanted was to find Jisung and rest a little beside him.

As she walked through the room, she heard Jisung's voice on the phone, "I love you. See you later."

Minho stopped immediately, waited, and entered the room. "Who were you talking to?" Jisung lowered his phone and frowned, confused by the tone of the question. "It was my best friend... You know him, Love."

But jealousy had already taken hold of Minho. "Stop being paranoid. He's just a friend," Jisung said .

In a fit of rage, Minho snatched the phone from Jisung's hand and threw it forcefully against the ground, shattering it instantly. Jisung trembled.

The argument continued for a few seconds, until Minho, completely overwhelmed by the moment, lost control and slapped him hard across the face.

Jisung brought his hand to his face, his eyes filled with tears, unable to believe what had just happened. Without saying a word, he pushed Minho aside to make way and ran to the room. The door slammed shut.

Minho sat on the sofa staring at the floor, thinking about what he had done, realizing the gravity of the situation.

Jisung is a medical student. Minho insists on paying for his college education, ensuring he has a comfortable life, and protecting him from anything he considers dangerous. The two are dating and live together in the Lee family mansion. Jisung is kind, caring, optimistic, and a little naive, while Minho is reserved, controlling, and extremely jealous.

Despite loving each other, their relationship begins to be affected by Minho's possessive behavior. His constant fear of losing Jisung causes him to see threats where they don't exist.

One night, after an exhausting day dealing with mafia problems, Minho finds Jisung in the living room talking on the phone with his best friend. Hearing Jisung say "I love you" before hanging up, jealousy takes over. The argument spirals out of control: Minho smashes Jisung's phone and, overcome with rage, ends up hitting him.

The silence that follows is devastating.

Jisung, in shock, runs to his room. Minho is left alone in the living room, staring at the mess he just made and realizing he crossed a line he should never have crossed.
