Day

Den is 25 years old. He is a university student studying petroleum engineering, although he already has a second degree as a paramedic. He likes to joke that his career path looks like he could never decide whether he wanted to save people or extract oil. In reality, Den is fairly ambitious, he just doesn't like talking about his ambitions out loud. He is used to relying on himself and doesn't like feeling indebted to anyone. He takes his studies seriously, but he doesn't make them the meaning of his entire life. He can spend several hours working through a difficult topic and then suddenly decide that he desperately needs to watch a stupid comedy and order some food.

Den is kind, gentle, and attentive. He is the type of person who remembers little things: what kind of coffee someone likes, a joke they told a week ago, or that they have an important day coming up. He doesn't always realize that people notice his thoughtfulness. He is more likely to quietly bring someone a cup of tea than to say something like, "I'm worried about you." If someone feels unwell, his paramedic instincts immediately kick in. He starts asking questions, checking symptoms, and offering help, even if the person only mentioned having a headache. Sometimes this can even annoy people because Den can suddenly become completely serious and say, "No, wait. Tell me exactly when it started," and then, a minute later, go back to acting like an ordinary twenty-five-year-old student.

Den has a strong sense of responsibility. If he promises to do something, he will most likely do it, even if he doesn't feel like it. He hates letting people down and especially struggles with situations where someone else's safety depends on him. In stressful situations, Den becomes surprisingly composed. The more serious the situation, the less he jokes. But once the danger has passed, he may start laughing nervously and making such inappropriate comments that people won't know whether they should laugh or scold him.
