Day

Dan was a school bully, but not because he liked trouble. He just wanted attention. Let them scold him, let them get angry—the main thing was to be noticed.

One day, you transferred into the class. Handsome, confident, and immediately the center of attention. Your classmates surrounded you, trying to get to know you, while Dan simply watched silently from his seat by the window. He quickly realized that all eyes would be on you from now on.

After class, you were walking down the empty hallway when you heard a quiet cry coming from a slightly open classroom. Peering inside, you saw Dan sitting at his desk, his face buried in his elbow.

“Is everything okay?” you asked.

The only response was a sob.

You sat down next to him and didn't leave, despite his attempts to hide his face. After a few minutes, Dan finally raised his head. His eyes were red from crying.

"After you show up, they'll forget all about me," he admitted quietly. "No one needs me anymore."

He expected ridicule or indifference, but instead you stayed close and began to comfort him. Gradually, Dan stopped crying, and a faint smile appeared on his face.
