Tomioka Giyu

Kagaya wears a dark kimono with a white haori over it. He has medium-length dark hair. His face is covered in a pattern resembling a cursed mark that slowly spread across his body and eventually took away his sight. This disease is hereditary to all males of the Ubuyashiki clan. Before the disease affected his eyes, they were a light purple. He is better known as "Oyakata-sama" Kagaya Ubuyashiki.
The Ubuyashiki clan is distantly related to Muzan Kibutsuji, the progenitor of all demons. Because of this bloodline, the entire clan was cursed, causing its members, especially the men, to be born with poor health and die before reaching the age of 30.

Kagaya spent every day of his life visiting the graves of fallen demon slayers until illness left him bedridden.

Nezuko had long black hair, which she wore in a bun as a human. Now, her hair is left loose, the ends dyed orange, and her eyes have changed from burgundy to a vibrant pink. Nezuko carried a bamboo chopstick in her mouth.

She wears a pink kimono with an asanoha pattern, a red and white checkered obi, and a black haori. As a demon, she could change her body size. As a human, Nezuko was a very kind, caring older sister who always put others first.

However, as a Demon, Nezuko appears to have forgotten much of her human memories, beyond those related to her family. She remains very caring and protective of the people she considers family, though this is largely due to the influence Sakonji Urokodaki had on her while she was asleep for two years. Nezuko also retains some of her human emotions, as she cries when sad and smiles when happy, but overall, she appears emotionless compared to a human. She is still much calmer and less angry than most Demons. Since becoming a Demon, Nezuko appears unafraid of combat, fiercely supporting her brother and allies in battle. On the rare occasions when Nezuko attempts to speak, she often stutters, which may be due to her bamboo mouthpiece and the fact that she did not speak for two years after becoming a Demon.

Inosuke usually appears masked and shirtless. Unmasked, he reveals a handsome, feminine face, with thin eyebrows, large green eyes with long eyelashes, and shoulder-length black hair that shades to blue. As other characters have noted, his soft features contrast with his muscular build. Of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, Inosuke wears only dark blue pants, secured with a wide wool belt and finished with matching blue wool socks with exposed toes and heels. The most prominent element of his attire is his light gray boar mask. Inosuke is incredibly hot-tempered and reckless, often picking fights with stronger opponents without considering the consequences. He enjoys competition and often tries to provoke his comrades—Tanjiro and Zenitsu—into duels. Inosuke grew up alone in the mountains, and because of this, he struggles to communicate with others, unable to read or write. Thanks to becoming a Demon Slayer and finding friends and allies, Inosuke has learned to spend more time strategizing, analyzing his opponent, and assessing risks, as well as accepting help. Inosuke is quite vengeful, especially when people he cares about suffer. He was convinced that the engineer who stabbed Tanjiro didn't deserve to live. He immediately attacked Douma after learning that he had killed and devoured Shinobu, and he became truly enraged when he learned that Douma was also the one who orphaned him. Most notably, he unhesitatingly challenged Muzan, demanding atonement for the numerous deaths of Demon Slayers.

Because he was raised by boars, Inosuke has a poor understanding of how to behave in society. He initially considers anyone who approaches him an enemy. Inosuke cannot read or write, and he has difficulty with human names: instead of Tanjiro, he calls him Monchiro, instead of Zenitsu, he calls him Monitsu.

Zenitsu is a young man with fair skin. He has golden-brown eyes, which are often cast downwards, and short yellow hair of varying lengths that turns orange towards the tips. Before becoming a Slayer, his hair was black.

On his feet, he wears a pair of kyahana, which are tied with white bows. The pattern on them matches the pattern on his haori. Zenitsu is a coward. He believes that, due to the dangers of his job as a Demon Slayer, he doesn't have long to live, which is why he often pesters girls he meets, asking them to marry him. Zenitsu has low self-esteem, which prevents him from living up to the expectations of others and himself. This often causes him to lose faith in his abilities, and even when it's obvious, Zenitsu denies that he has achieved victory on his own. He believes that his calling is to live a humble life, not to slay demons. When he senses difficulty or danger, he runs away, hides, or simply cries.

But even as a softie, Zenitsu respects his comrades and admires his late teacher, Shihan. His sense of duty to him helps Zenitsu forget his fear and focus at the right moment. Despite his intense fear of demons, Zenitsu is in love with Nezuko. He does everything he can to ensure Nezuko agrees to marry him, and proclaims his love for her every time they cross paths. Zenitsu defends Nezuko several times. After the final selection, he is among those who pass. Later, he talks to himself, fearing that he will soon die. Then, each of the four who pass the selection receives their own raven, except Zenitsu, who receives a sparrow. Afterward, all four are asked to choose which ore they want their sword made from.

Gyomei wears a slightly modified black Meiji-era demon slayer uniform. His uniform consists of a gakuran jacket with sleeves rolled up to the elbow and a prominent white lapel. The jacket has no top buttons or loops, only a single gold button fastened at the bottom, above the belt. The collar is unbuttoned and stands upright, and on the back of the jacket is the white kanji "滅." Underneath the jacket, instead of a white shirt, he wears a purple uwagi jacket, revealing a white juban above it, the jacket itself slightly exposing his collarbone. Below this are tatsuke hakama, wrapped in white shin bandages, and a white belt with silver thread. His footwear is white rubber zori with taupe straps and no tabi socks. This drove her to seek a place where her unique features would be appreciated, which is how she joined the Exterminator Corps. Personality. Mitsuri is incredibly kind, emotional, and cheerful. She sincerely strives to show love and care to everyone around her, which fully lives up to her title as the Pillar of Love. However, she can be shy, easily embarrassed, prone to exaggerated reactions, and sometimes acts childishly. Mitsuri greatly values ​​praise and treats her comrades warmly—for example, she can rush to embrace them after a difficult battle. At the same time, she has a deep desire to be useful and not be a burden to others.
Appearance. Mitsuri is a young woman with long, thick hair: light pink at the roots, fading to lime green at the ends. Her hair is braided into three thick braids with voluminous bangs. Backstory and Motivation: Obanai was born into a family that had sacrificed humans to a snake demon for centuries. The only male child in his family for 300 years, he was kept in a cage and later deliberately disfigured to resemble the demon. His escape and encounter with demon slayers gave him a chance to escape this nightmare. His drive to be a flawless warrior is largely driven by guilt and a sense that he must "atone" for his origins and become a worthy person—primarily in his own eyes and in the eyes of those he cares about.

Abilities and fighting style. He wields the "Snake Breath" technique, a style whose attacks curve and evade defenses like the movements of a snake. Obanai's sword is also unique: it can bend to match these curves. In combat, he works closely with Kaburamaru: the snake reads the enemy's movements and transmits signals to Obanai (including when he loses his sight). In the final battle, he awakens the Demon Slayer's mark, turning Nichirin's blade red and fighting even while completely blinded.

Obanai is tough, demanding, and extremely strict about following the rules; at first, he appears cold and even rude, especially during the Pillar Trial, where he insists on harsh punishment for violators. His attacks are powerful, devastating blows, like an eruption of fire; he is capable of fighting at the limit of his abilities for extended periods. In combat, Kyojuro demonstrates phenomenal speed and endurance: for example, he single-handedly held off a threat across several train cars. Backstory and Motivation. Muichiro is Yuichiro's twin; after the death of their parents, the brothers were left alone. When a demon attacked them, Muichiro, enraged, defeated the enemy, but his brother died. Afterward, Muichiro lost his memories, and his personality became cold and distant. He quickly became a Pillar (in just two months of training), largely due to his suppressed rage and desire to prevent further loss. His journey is a gradual recovery of his memories and emotions, as well as overcoming feelings of guilt.

Abilities and fighting style. He masters the "Mist Breathing" technique and uses seven of its styles—the seventh, "Haze," was his own invention. He is distinguished by phenomenal speed and reflexes: his movements are so swift they seem like teleportation. During the story, he awakens the Demon Slayer Mark and the ability to see the "Transparent World" (he can read his opponent's muscle movements and blood flow), and also dyes his Nichirin Blade a crimson red.

But the truth was, he'd been searching for her with his eyes at meetings, silently watching her during training, listening to her voice longer than necessary when she spoke to others. Beneath his stern exterior, however, lies a devotion to his cause and concern for his loved ones, though he rarely displays it. His relationship with his younger brother, Genya, is particularly complex.

Abilities and fighting style. Sanemi wields "Breath of Wind"—quick, abrupt attacks reminiscent of gusts of storm wind. In combat, he relies on aggressive pressure and crushing force. Sanemi also has unique blood: it is toxic to demons and can disorient them.

Background and motivation. A family tragedy has profoundly shaped his worldview: he witnessed demons destroy lives and now harbors an absolute hatred for them. Because of his experiences, he is extremely suspicious of any manifestations of the "demonic" and unwilling to compromise when it comes to threats to humanity.

Abilities and fighting style. Due to her small stature and comparatively weak physical strength, Shinobu cannot sever demon heads like other Hashira. Instead, she uses "Insect Breath," a style built on speed, agility, and precise thrusts. Her blade is modified to act as a needle, injecting deadly wisteria-based poisons into the demon's body. Shinobu is an exceptional pharmacist: she precisely calculates the compositions and dosages of poisons capable of weakening even the Upper Moons. In combat, she moves swiftly and unpredictably, avoiding direct confrontation and delivering multiple, rapid strikes.
Backstory and Motivation. Shinobu has suffered a series of crushing losses: demons killed her parents, and later, her older sister, Kanae, the Flower Pillar. Kanae dreamed of peace between humans and demons and longed for gentleness and hope in her sister, so Shinobu consciously cultivates a smile and an outward calm—in memory of her sister. Her true goal, however, is to destroy as many demons as possible and ultimately take revenge on Kanae's killer, Douma (Upper Moon 2). To this end, she spent years perfecting poisons and tactics, and in the final battle, she resorted to an extremely risky plan to deal a crushing blow to Douma from within.
Personality. At first glance, Shinobu appears easygoing, cheerful, and even playful: she smiles often, teases her comrades (like Giyu Tomioka), and acts casually. But this kindness is a mask: beneath it simmers a deep, almost all-consuming hatred for demons. Her kindness is selective and doesn't extend to her enemies: towards them, she is merciless and calculating. At the same time, Shinobu genuinely cares for people and wounded fighters—she oversees the Butterfly Estate, where fighters are treated and recuperated.
Appearance. A petite girl with hair that ranges from black to dark purple, styled in a traditional style with a butterfly-shaped clip. She has delicate features and a calm gaze, and her signature piece is a white patterned haori.
