The world of Eleceed looks almost like our modern world—cities, schools, technology, governments, and ordinary people—but hidden behind it is a completely different society of Awakened Ones.

Awakened Ones are humans born with supernatural abilities. Their powers can include:

🌎 The Awakened World

The Awakened world has its own hierarchy. Powerful Awakeners are extremely influential, and the strongest individuals can determine the balance of power between organizations and countries.

At the top are the Top 10, the world’s most powerful Awakeners. They aren’t simply famous fighters—they represent the highest level of power that most Awakeners can reach.

Below them are powerful organizations, academies, clans, and independent Awakeners.

🏫 Awakened Academies

Young Awakeners are trained through specialized institutions.

One of the most important is the Korean Awakened Academy, where Jiwoo and his friends train.

Students aren’t simply learning how to use their abilities. They learn:

• Combat
• Ability control
• Strategy
• Physical conditioning
• How to fight other Awakeners
• How to survive against stronger opponents

The academy also becomes a place where powerful families and organizations interact.

🇰🇷 Korea

Korea has a surprisingly powerful position in the Awakened world despite being smaller than some other major powers.

Important Korean Awakeners include Jiwoo Seo, Jiyoung Yoo, Subin Yoo, Sucheon Kang, and others.

The Korean Awakened Association helps manage Awakeners and maintains relationships with other organizations.

🏰 The World Leaders

The strongest Awakeners tend to belong to enormous organizations or influential families.

Some of the most important groups include:

Frame — A dangerous international organization associated with some of the world’s most powerful Awakeners. It operates very differently from legitimate awakened organizations.

World Awakened Academy — An international institution where talented young Awakeners from different countries can train and compete.

Korean Awakened Association — One of Korea’s major awakened organizations.

Large awakened families — Families such as the Yoo and Klein families possess generations of awakened power and influence.

👑 The Top 10

The Top 10 sit at the summit of the awakened world.

These people are so powerful that ordinary high-ranking Awakeners are on an entirely different level from them.

And above—or at least outside—the normal hierarchy are monsters like Kayden Break.

Kayden is particularly terrifying because he isn’t simply powerful. He’s an independent awakened fighter who has challenged extremely powerful opponents and earned the title “The Greatest Awakener.”

🐈 Jiwoo’s Place in This World

Jiwoo begins as someone completely unknown to the awakened world.

He’s extraordinarily fast, kind-hearted, and inexperienced.

After meeting Kayden, however, Jiwoo’s life changes completely.

Kayden recognizes Jiwoo’s enormous potential and begins training him.

Jiwoo eventually becomes connected to some of the most powerful Awakeners in Korea, while his friends become part of the same rising generation.

So the central idea of Eleceed’s world is basically:

A normal modern world on the surface → a secret supernatural society underneath → powerful organizations and families → an elite hierarchy → monsters at the very top.

⚡ The World’s Top 10 — Eleceed

The Top 10 are the ten strongest officially recognized Awakeners in the world. However, as of the current story, the roster is in flux because Astra and Andrei are dead/removed from the active hierarchy, and Kayden has effectively entered the Top 10 tier.

The currently known Top 10-level figures include:

1. ⚡ Kayden Break — The combat monster. Master of electricity and spatial movement, with tremendous battle experience. He has defeated multiple Top 10-level opponents and is arguably the strongest active fighter.
2. 🐉 Gestella — One of the most powerful active Top 10s. Extremely mysterious and powerful, with abilities involving barriers and energy manipulation.
3. 🧓 Veramonte Patrick — Jurion Patrick’s grandfather and one of the oldest known Top 10s. His long experience makes him extremely dangerous.
4. 🗡️ Schneider — A powerful Top 10 associated with the World Awakened Academy’s wider power structure.
5. 👵 Supri — Another veteran Top 10 and an influential figure among the world’s strongest Awakeners.
6. 🗡️ Iodore — A Top 10 whose spear technique was developed through years of training and pushing beyond his limits. Recent chapters portray him as exceptionally powerful.
7. 🛡️ Garas — A Top 10 with powerful defensive and energy-manipulation abilities.
8. 🧑 Greg — A Top 10 associated with Frame and one of the Awakeners who fought Kayden alongside Mioru and Andrei.
9. 🧲 Mioru — Another Frame-associated Top 10. She possesses tremendous physical and awakened power but has struggled against Kayden.
10. Vacant/uncertain — The remaining seat has not been clearly established in the current story.

⚡🐈 Jiwoo Seo

Age: 18–19 currently
Height: around 175–178 cm, approximate
Role: Protagonist / Kayden’s only apprentice
Ability: Super Speed + Electrokinesis

Appearance: Jiwoo has soft cream-colored hair, large amber eyes, fair skin, and a naturally gentle-looking face. He originally had a slim build, but Kayden and later Pluton’s training made him considerably more muscular and athletic.

Personality: Jiwoo is probably the kindest person among the major Awakeners. He’s gentle, compassionate, shy around strangers, and extremely protective of people he cares about. But underneath that softness is an extremely stubborn and competitive fighter. Once he decides to protect someone, convincing him to stop is almost impossible.

Past: Jiwoo grew up hiding his super-speed ability because he was afraid people would consider him strange. He spent much of his childhood isolated, with cats becoming his closest companions. Everything changed when he rescued an injured cat who turned out to be Kayden Break.

Strength: His natural ability is super speed, but Kayden teaches him to combine speed with electricity. Jiwoo eventually develops his own fighting style around explosive acceleration, close-range attacks and electric power. His growth rate is extraordinary, making him one of the most dangerous young Awakeners.

Relationships:
🐈 Kayden: Master and apprentice, but practically father-and-son/brother-like at times.
💨 Jisuk: Close friend and rival.
🧠 Wooin: Close friend.
❄️ Subin: Close friend who treats him like family.
🌪️ Jiyoung: Romantic relationship and one of the people Jiwoo trusts most.
🐱 Kartein: Initially troublesome relationship, eventually genuine affection.

⚡😼 Kayden Break

Role: Top-level Awakener / Jiwoo’s master
Ability: Electrokinesis + Spatial Isolation

Appearance: Kayden has dark hair, sharp eyes and a confident, intimidating appearance in human form. However, after being badly injured, he becomes trapped in the form of a fat gray cat—the form Jiwoo first encounters him in.

⚡🐈 Kayden Break — Cat: A gray/white fluffy cat. This is his main animal form after his injuries. He looks harmless but is actually one of the world’s strongest Awakeners.

Personality: Arrogant. Loud. Competitive. Extremely confident.

Kayden loves fighting strong opponents and has little interest in politics or status. He can appear selfish and irresponsible, but underneath that attitude he genuinely cares about Jiwoo.

Past: Kayden became one of the world’s most notorious Awakeners through constant fighting. He challenged powerful Awakeners and eventually became one of the world’s greatest combatants. At the beginning of the story, he was seriously injured after encountering several Top 10-level opponents and escaped to Korea in his weakened cat form.

Strength: Monstrous. Kayden specializes in electricity and spatial techniques. His combat ability is so extreme that even other world-ranked Awakeners treat him as a terrifying opponent.

His greatest advantage isn’t simply raw power—it’s his combat experience, creativity and ability to adapt during battle.

🩺 Kartein: Old friend/rival; they constantly argue.
🌹 Gestella: Extremely complicated relationship with romantic implications.

🩺🐈 Kartein

Appearance: Blond/light-colored hair, elegant features and a refined appearance. Even when he’s pretending to be a cat, Kartein maintains his dramatic personality.

🩺🐈 Kartein — Cat: A white/light-colored cat. His appearance is more elegant and refined, fitting his personality.

Personality: Arrogant, dramatic, extremely intelligent and easily annoyed.

He’s one of those characters who constantly complains while secretly helping everyone.

Past: Kartein became famous for his extraordinary healing ability and was already considered one of the world’s greatest healers before becoming involved with Jiwoo and Kayden.

Strength: His healing ability is arguably his greatest asset, but he’s also a terrifying fighter when he actually decides to fight.

Appearance: Very tall, massively muscular, with short dark hair and a rugged face. He has an intimidating appearance that matches his fighting style.

🪨🐕 Pluton — Dog: A large black dog, much more intimidating than Kayden or Kartein’s cat forms. His animal form matches his huge physical strength and serious personality.

Personality: Pluton is serious, disciplined, proud, and straightforward. He can seem cold, but he’s actually honorable and surprisingly considerate. He respects strong people and values fair fights.

Past: Pluton was once associated with Frame but eventually separated from them. After encountering Jiwoo and the others, he becomes connected to Gestella’s group and takes an interest in training Jiwoo.

Strength: 🥊 Extremely powerful close-range fighter. His body is his greatest weapon. He possesses tremendous physical strength, durability and defensive ability, allowing him to fight opponents far above normal awakened levels.

🌪️👑 Jiyoung Yoo

Role: Leader of Shinhwa / one of Korea’s strongest Awakeners
Ability: Wind manipulation + Spatial Isolation

Appearance: Jiyoung is elegant and striking, with long dark hair, sharp features and a sophisticated appearance. She normally carries herself with a serious expression.

Personality: Calm, intelligent, responsible and extremely composed. She’s much more serious than Jiwoo’s other friends.

But around Jiwoo, her personality becomes noticeably softer. She smiles more, teases him and shows emotions that she rarely displays around others.

Past: Jiyoung inherited enormous responsibility through the Yoo family and became the leader of Shinhwa at a remarkably young age. She had to mature quickly because she was responsible for protecting both her family and organization.

Strength: She is regarded as the strongest awakened person in Korea and has reached the upper levels of the world’s rankings. Her wind manipulation is extraordinarily powerful, and she can also use Spatial Isolation.

Relationships:
🌪️ Jisuk: Younger brother. She is extremely protective of him.
⚡ Jiwoo: Romantic partner.
🐈 Kayden: Mutual respect, although Kayden obviously enjoys provoking her.
🏢 Shinhwa: Her responsibility and organization.

💢 Hates: People who threaten her family, arrogant Awakeners who abuse their power and unnecessary cruelty.

🌪️😾 Jisuk Yoo

Appearance: Green hair, sharp green eyes and a lean athletic build. His appearance matches his personality—he looks like someone who’s constantly ready to start an argument.

Personality: Jisuk is proud, sarcastic, competitive and hot-headed. He loves teasing Jiwoo and constantly tries to prove himself.

But he’s much softer underneath. Once Jiwoo becomes his friend, Jisuk becomes extremely protective of him.

Past: As Jiyoung’s younger brother, Jisuk grew up surrounded by powerful Awakeners. He initially looked down on people he considered weaker and had difficulty understanding friendship.

Jiwoo gradually changed him.

Strength: One of the strongest young Awakeners in Korea. His wind ability gives him incredible mobility, ranged attacks and defensive options.

Relationships:

❄️🥊 Subin Lee

Ability: Cryokinesis / ice

Appearance: Short black-gray hair, dark eyes, pale skin and a slim athletic body. She has multiple piercings and an edgy fashion style.

Personality: Loud, aggressive, mischievous and extremely confident. Subin can look like the troublemaker of the group, but she’s actually deeply caring.

She also has a much more serious side because of the responsibilities surrounding her family.

Past: Subin’s parents were betrayed by someone they trusted and died in an unexplained incident. Her grandfather was also permanently injured, leaving Subin under enormous pressure as a future leader of the Union.

Strength: Extremely talented with ice-based abilities. She’s among the strongest of Jiwoo’s generation and possesses enormous potential.

Appearance: Short black hair, gray eyes, glasses and a tall, slim build. He’s noticeably more reserved-looking than Jisuk and Subin.

Personality: Quiet, gentle, cautious and intelligent. Wooin rarely expresses strong emotions, but he’s extremely loyal.

He’s also surprisingly stubborn when someone he cares about is threatened.

Past: Wooin was connected to Dr. Delein, who became something of a father figure and mentor to him. His childhood left him cautious about trusting people and making decisions for himself.

Eventually, Jiwoo and the others helped him become more independent.

Strength: A highly talented telekinetic. He’s approximately around Jisuk’s level among their generation and is considered one of Korea’s strongest young Awakeners.

Personality: At first, she appears cold, intimidating and domineering. In reality, she’s remarkably gentle, honorable and sensitive.

She cares deeply about her adopted subordinates and dislikes people who abuse ordinary humans.

Past: Gestella isolated herself because she hated her innate ability to absorb awakened power. She lived away from much of awakened society and raised Mei and Blusse as her own.

Her life changed after meeting Kayden.

Strength: She’s a genuine Top 10 and one of the world’s most powerful Awakeners. Her ability to absorb awakened power makes her particularly dangerous.

🐍 Duke Grayne

Relationships: A student connected to the Grayne family and one of Jiwoo’s antagonistic rivals.

The biggest enemy organization connected to both Jiwoo and Kayden. It is an international group of powerful Awakeners that uses ruthless methods and has repeatedly targeted Kayden and Jiwoo.

🐍 Duke Grayne

A young awakened from the World Awakened Academy who becomes one of Jiwoo’s personal enemies. He’s extremely talented but arrogant and obsessed with proving himself superior.

🦂 Dr. Delein

An enemy from Wooin’s past. He experimented on and manipulated Awakeners, making him an important antagonist early in Jiwoo’s story. His connection to Wooin makes the conflict personal.

⚔️ Frame’s powerful Awakeners

Several high-level Frame members have fought against Jiwoo and Kayden, including:

• Andrei — former Top 10, one of Kayden’s major enemies.
• Astra — former Top 10 and one of the most dangerous enemies Kayden has fought.
• Mioru — powerful Frame member who fought Kayden.

🥊 Kang Geon

Sucheon’s father and an influential awakened. He isn’t simply a villain like Frame, but he became an antagonist because of his treatment of Sucheon and his opposition to Jiwoo’s side.

⚡ The strongest threat to Kayden

Among Kayden’s enemies, Astra and Andrei are particularly important because they weren’t ordinary opponents—they were Top 10-level monsters who could actually threaten Kayden.

And for Jiwoo, his most personal enemies are Duke and the people who repeatedly target his friends and family.
