🌙 Cultivation

Cultivators train themselves to become stronger by cultivating spiritual energy (灵力). They use this energy to fight supernatural threats, perform talismans, control spiritual weapons, form protective arrays, and communicate with spirits.

Most cultivators belong to powerful cultivation clans. The strongest clans have their own territory, traditions, disciples, weapons, and political influence.

Gusu Lan Clan — 云深不知处
Known for discipline, elegance, strict rules, music cultivation, and the famous Lan Clan forehead ribbon.

Their home is the Cloud Recesses, a beautiful but extremely strict mountain residence.

Important figures include:

Yunmeng Jiang Clan — Lotus Pier
A powerful clan associated with water, lotus flowers, and the Yunmeng region.

Lanling Jin Clan — Jinlintai
Extremely wealthy and politically powerful. They possess enormous influence among the cultivation clans.

🏯 The Cultivation World

The world is divided into different territories controlled by clans.

Cultivators travel between cities, villages, mountains, forests, tombs, and clan territories.

There are also large cultivation gatherings where the major clans meet, compete, exchange information, and sometimes settle disputes.

But underneath the elegant appearance of the cultivation world is politics, family expectations, revenge, jealousy, reputation, and power struggles.

And that’s what makes MDZS’s world so interesting:

A cultivator isn’t judged only by how powerful they are. They’re judged by which clan they belong to, what cultivation method they use, who their family is, and what people believe about them.

The Gusu Lan Clan lives high in the mountains at the Cloud Recesses.

Their home is peaceful, elegant, surrounded by forests, waterfalls, mist, and bamboo.

But don’t let the peaceful appearance fool you.

The Lan Clan is extremely strict.

They have hundreds of rules governing almost everything—from behavior and speech to alcohol and nighttime activities.

🏮Lan Sizhui — Lan Yuan

Age: Around 16–17 during the main story
Clan: Gusu Lan
Appearance: A gentle-looking young man with long dark hair, fair skin, and refined features. He wears the white-and-blue robes of the Lan Clan and carries himself neatly. His appearance has some similarities to Lan Wangji, which fits his upbringing in the Lan Clan.

Personality: Kind, patient, polite, calm, and emotionally mature. Unlike many Lan disciples, Sizhui is quite warm and understanding. He rarely judges people quickly and often tries to calm arguments rather than make them worse. He’s also surprisingly brave when someone he cares about is in danger.

Strength: A talented young cultivator with excellent swordsmanship, spiritual cultivation, archery, and knowledge of Lan techniques. He is particularly good at working with other cultivators during night-hunts. His cultivation continues to develop under Lan Wangji’s guidance.

Past: His original name was Wen Yuan, and he was one of the surviving Wen children. Wei Wuxian knew him when he was very young and cared for him during the period when the Wen remnants lived at the Burial Mounds. After the Wen Clan’s downfall, Lan Wangji took responsibility for him and brought him to the Gusu Lan Clan, where he eventually became known as Lan Sizhui.

Relationships: Raised by Lan Wangji, giving them an especially meaningful father-and-son-like relationship. He has a close friendship with Lan Jingyi and the other younger Lan disciples. He also has a deep connection to Wei Wuxian because Wei Wuxian knew him as A-Yuan.

Loves: His friends, Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian, helping people, night-hunts, learning cultivation, and peaceful places.

Hates: Cruelty, unnecessary fighting, people being treated unfairly, and seeing his friends hurt.

🐉 Lan Jingyi

Age: Around 16–17
Clan: Gusu Lan
Appearance: A handsome teenage boy with long dark hair, fair skin, and expressive eyes. He wears the traditional white-and-blue Lan robes but often looks much less composed than the typical Lan disciple.

Personality: Loud, blunt, energetic, impatient, and extremely expressive. He’s one of the funniest younger Lan disciples because he constantly struggles with the Lan Clan’s expectation of perfect composure. He can be argumentative and easily annoyed, but he’s also loyal, brave, and genuinely caring.

Strength: A talented young cultivator with strong swordsmanship and spiritual cultivation. He’s capable during night-hunts and isn’t afraid to confront dangerous creatures. He fights more aggressively and impulsively than Sizhui.

Past: Jingyi was raised in the strict environment of the Gusu Lan Clan. Unlike Sizhui, who tends to naturally embody Lan discipline, Jingyi frequently struggles against it. His personality makes him stand out among the younger disciples.

Relationships: One of Lan Sizhui’s closest friends. He also interacts frequently with Jin Ling and the other young cultivators. Although Jingyi and Jin Ling argue constantly, they become part of the same group.

Loves: His friends, exciting night-hunts, proving himself, adventure, and being able to speak his mind.

Hates: Being told to stay quiet, excessive Lan rules, arrogant people, injustice, and losing arguments.

Lan Qiren

Appearance: Older man with a long beard, traditional Lan robes, and a perpetually stern expression.

Personality: Extremely strict, traditional, intelligent, and easily irritated by improper behavior. Despite appearing harsh, he genuinely cares about his nephews and the Lan Clan.

Strength: Highly knowledgeable in cultivation, education, history, and Lan traditions.

Past: He helped raise Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen and became one of the clan’s most important elders.

Relationships: Uncle and teacher to Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen; has a particularly complicated relationship with Wei Wuxian.

Loves: Rules, education, tradition, discipline, and his family.

Hates: Wei Wuxian’s recklessness, disrespect, disorder, and people breaking Lan rules.

Lan Xichen (Lan Huan)

Appearance: Tall, graceful, handsome, with long dark hair and a gentle expression. He wears the traditional white-and-blue robes of Gusu Lan and carries himself like a refined nobleman.

Personality: Kind, patient, diplomatic, intelligent, and considerably warmer than Lan Wangji. He is known as the Zewu-Jun and is respected throughout the cultivation world. However, his kindness sometimes makes him trust people too deeply.

Strength: Exceptional swordsmanship and spiritual cultivation. One of the strongest cultivators of his generation. His spiritual weapon is Shuoyue, and he also plays the xiao.

Past: He and Lan Wangji grew up together after their mother was secluded. He became the clan leader and carried enormous responsibility.

Relationships: Older brother of Lan Wangji. Close friends with Jin Guangyao and Nie Mingjue through the Three Prides of Gusu, Lanling, and Qinghe.

Loves: His brother, music, peace, his clan, and people he trusts.

Hates: Betrayal, unnecessary conflict, and seeing people he loves suffer.

Lan Wangji (Lan Zhan)

Age: 21 at the beginning of the story; 34 after the time skip

Appearance: Tall, slender, extremely handsome, with long black hair usually tied back neatly. He has pale skin, light-colored eyes, and a calm, almost unreadable expression. He wears the white and pale-blue robes of the Lan Clan and the Lan forehead ribbon. His presence is quiet and elegant.

Personality: Reserved, disciplined, serious, and extremely principled. Lan Wangji rarely wastes words and usually expresses his feelings through actions rather than speech. He can appear cold, but underneath that calm exterior he is deeply compassionate and fiercely loyal. Once he decides someone matters to him, he refuses to abandon them.

Strength: One of the strongest young cultivators of his generation. Exceptional swordsmanship, qin cultivation, spiritual energy, and defensive techniques. His sword is Bichen, and his guqin is Wangji.

Past: He grew up in the Lan Clan under strict rules. His mother was isolated from the world, leaving a deep emotional wound in his childhood. He later became one of the most respected cultivators. His relationship with Wei Wuxian changed his life and eventually led him to stand against the cultivation world’s judgment.

Relationships: Younger brother of Lan Xichen; nephew of Lan Qiren. Extremely close to Wei Wuxian. Respects Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng despite their differences.

Loves: Wei Wuxian, music, quiet places, righteousness, rabbits, and keeping his promises.

Hates: Injustice, unnecessary cruelty, dishonesty, excessive noise, and people who threaten those he protects.

The Yunmeng Jiang Clan is based at Lotus Pier, surrounded by lakes and lotus flowers.

Their territory is very different from the mountains of Gusu.

It’s warmer, livelier, and much more relaxed.

Their Family Dynamic

Jiang Fengmian: calm and diplomatic.
Yu Ziyuan: fierce and demanding.
Jiang Cheng: inherits much of his mother’s temper and his father’s sense of responsibility.
Jiang Yanli: inherits the family’s gentleness and compassion.
Wei Wuxian: grows up between them, loved by some, resented by others, and eventually becomes one of the most important people in the cultivation world.

🪷 Jiang Fengmian — Jiang Clan Leader

Age: Adult, around his 40s–50s during the main events
Appearance: Tall and refined, with long dark hair and a calm, handsome face. He wears the purple robes of the Yunmeng Jiang Clan and carries himself with quiet dignity. Unlike Jiang Cheng’s sharp intensity, Jiang Fengmian usually has a gentle and composed presence.

Personality: Kind, patient, calm, and diplomatic. He isn’t as strict as Yu Ziyuan and tends to handle situations quietly rather than through confrontation. He cares deeply about his family but isn’t always good at expressing what he feels. His calm nature can sometimes make him appear emotionally distant.

Strength: A highly respected and capable cultivator. He is an accomplished swordsman and clan leader with strong spiritual cultivation. His greatest strengths are his experience, leadership, and ability to maintain relationships with other clans.

Past: Jiang Fengmian inherited leadership of the Yunmeng Jiang Clan and became the father of Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli. He later brought the orphaned Wei Wuxian into Lotus Pier after finding him living on the streets. He raised Wei Wuxian alongside his own children, although his relationship with Yu Ziyuan and his complicated feelings about the past created tension within the family.

Relationships: Husband of Yu Ziyuan, father of Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli, and the man who took Wei Wuxian into the Jiang household. He respected Wei Wuxian’s talent and cared about him, even though his inability to openly communicate his feelings contributed to family misunderstandings.

Loves: His children, his clan, protecting Lotus Pier, and maintaining peace between people.

Hates: Needless conflict, threats against his family, and seeing his clan suffer.

🪻 Yu Ziyuan — Madame Yu

Age: Adult, around her 40s–50s
Appearance: Beautiful but intimidating, with sharp eyes, long dark hair, and an elegant appearance. She wears the distinctive purple clothing of Yunmeng Jiang and carries the spiritual whip Zidian, usually worn as a ring when not in use. Her appearance and presence can make an entire room fall silent.

Personality: Fierce, proud, sharp-tongued, strict, and extremely strong-willed. She has little patience for weakness or disrespect. She can appear cold and cruel, especially toward Wei Wuxian, but she is fiercely protective of her children and her clan.

Strength: An exceptionally powerful cultivator. Her weapon Zidian is a formidable spiritual weapon capable of attacking enemies and possessing powerful supernatural abilities. Her combat style is fast, aggressive, and intimidating.

Past: Yu Ziyuan came from the powerful Yu family and married Jiang Fengmian. Their marriage was complicated, partly because she believed Jiang Fengmian cared more about another woman and had greater affection for Wei Wuxian than for her own family. These insecurities contributed heavily to the tension inside Lotus Pier.

Relationships: Wife of Jiang Fengmian, mother of Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli. Her relationship with Wei Wuxian is extremely strained. She often blames him for problems within the Jiang household, although her actions ultimately show that she does care about him and considers him part of the family in her own complicated way.

Loves: Jiang Cheng, Jiang Yanli, the Jiang Clan, her family’s honor, and protecting Lotus Pier.

Hates: Disobedience, weakness, humiliation, disrespect, threats against her children, and anything she believes could endanger the Jiang Clan.

Wei Wuxian (Wei Ying)

Appearance: Handsome, youthful, with black hair and expressive eyes. Usually wears dark red and black robes associated with Yunmeng Jiang. After becoming the Yiling Patriarch, his appearance becomes darker and more intimidating.

Personality: Playful, mischievous, intelligent, shamelessly confident, and extremely clever. He loves teasing people and rarely behaves according to expectations. Beneath his humor is someone incredibly self-sacrificing who often hides his suffering behind a smile.

Strength: A cultivation genius. Originally cultivated orthodox spiritual energy and became one of the strongest young cultivators. Later created demonic cultivation, controlling resentful energy, fierce corpses, and using his flute Chenqing. His intelligence makes him particularly dangerous because he invents techniques rather than simply following tradition.

Past: Orphaned at a young age, he lived on the streets before Jiang Fengmian brought him to Lotus Pier. He was raised alongside Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli. His life was destroyed during the Wen Clan’s attack, eventually leading him to the Burial Mounds and the creation of demonic cultivation.

Relationships: Adoptive brother to Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli. Deeply connected to Lan Wangji. Close to Jin Ling because of Jiang Yanli.

Loves: Jiang Yanli, Lan Wangji, his friends, freedom, food, teasing Lan Wangji, and helping people.

Hates: Cruelty, hypocrisy, injustice, people hurting his loved ones, and being controlled.

Jiang Cheng (Jiang Wanyin)

Appearance: Tall, handsome, sharp-featured, with dark hair and purple robes. Usually carries his sword Sandu and wears the characteristic purple clothing of Yunmeng Jiang.

Personality: Proud, hot-tempered, competitive, stubborn, and emotionally complicated. He can be harsh with his words but is much more caring than he wants people to realize. His greatest weakness is his difficulty expressing vulnerability.

Strength: Extremely powerful swordsman and clan leader. Uses Sandu and the spiritual whip Zidian. His combat ability and spiritual power are exceptional.

Past: Grew up beside Wei Wuxian and considered him both his brother and rival. After Lotus Pier was destroyed and his family died, Jiang Cheng carried enormous resentment and responsibility.

Relationships: Younger brother of Jiang Yanli; raised alongside Wei Wuxian. Father of Jin Ling. His relationship with Wei Wuxian becomes one of the most painful bonds in the story.

Loves: His sister, Jin Ling, Yunmeng Jiang, his parents’ legacy, and protecting his clan.

Hates: Betrayal, weakness, being looked down upon, losing people he loves, and Wei Wuxian’s tendency to sacrifice himself.

Jiang Yanli

Appearance: Beautiful, gentle-looking woman with long dark hair and elegant purple robes. Her appearance is softer than the other Jiang family members.

Personality: Kind, patient, nurturing, emotionally intelligent, and peaceful. She isn’t known for being the strongest fighter, but her emotional strength is enormous.

Strength: More focused on spiritual cultivation and supporting others than combat.

Past: Grew up caring deeply for both Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian. Her life was heavily affected by the conflict between the clans.

Relationships: Older sister of Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian’s beloved shijie. Wife of Jin Zixuan and mother of Jin Ling.

Lanling Jin

“Influence.”

Wealthy, ambitious, politically powerful.

Jin Guangyao (Meng Yao)

Appearance: Shorter and slender, with refined features, warm eyes, and carefully arranged dark hair. Always dresses elegantly in luxurious Jin Clan robes.

Personality: Intelligent, polite, diplomatic, ambitious, and extremely observant. He knows exactly how to behave around different people. His greatest strength is his mind.

Strength: Skilled cultivator, swordsman, strategist, and politician. His spiritual weapon is Hensheng.

Past: Born to a famous father but a low-status mother, he was looked down upon throughout his childhood. He spent much of his life trying to prove that he deserved respect. His past shaped both his ambition and his fear of humiliation.

Relationships: Younger sworn brother of Lan Xichen and Nie Mingjue through their brotherhood. Husband of Qin Su. Uncle of Jin Ling.

Loves: His mother, Lan Xichen, his position, respect, and having control over his own life.

Hates: Humiliation, being reminded of his origins, losing control, and people who look down on him.

Jin Zixuan

Appearance: Tall, handsome, proud-looking, with long dark hair and luxurious golden robes.

Personality: Proud, straightforward, serious, competitive, and initially somewhat arrogant. As he matures, his softer and more caring side becomes clearer.

Strength: Talented young cultivator and skilled swordsman.

Past: Raised as the heir of the Jin Clan and expected to marry Jiang Yanli. His relationship with her initially begins poorly but eventually becomes genuine.

Relationships: Husband of Jiang Yanli and father of Jin Ling. Has a complicated but important relationship with Wei Wuxian.

Loves: Jiang Yanli, his family, and eventually his son deeply.

Hates: Being embarrassed, unnecessary interference, and people threatening his family.

Jin Ling

Appearance: Handsome teenage boy with dark hair, golden robes, and sharp features. He resembles both the Jiang and Jin families. Often accompanied by his spiritual dog, Fairy.

Personality: Proud, stubborn, easily irritated, competitive, and sometimes rude, but underneath he is lonely and desperately wants affection.

Strength: Talented young cultivator and skilled archer.

Past: Lost both parents while still young and was raised by Jiang Cheng. His complicated family history leaves him with many unanswered questions.

Relationships: Nephew of Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian; son of Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan.

Loves: Fairy, his uncle Jiang Cheng, hunting, proving himself, and secretly having people care about him.

Hates: Being treated like a child, questions about his parents, humiliation, and being abandoned.

The Qinghe Nie Clan comes from the northern region of Qinghe.

Their headquarters is the Unclean Realm.

Their cultivation style is perhaps the most intimidating among the major clans.

Qinghe Nie

Aggressive, courageous, combat-focused.

Nie Mingjue

Appearance: Extremely tall, broad-shouldered, muscular, with a powerful presence. Usually wears dark Qinghe Nie robes and carries his enormous saber Baxia.

Personality: Direct, serious, honorable, impatient, and extremely strict about morality. He doesn’t tolerate deception and prefers confronting problems directly.

Strength: One of the strongest physical fighters of his generation. His saber techniques are devastating.

Past: Became clan leader after the death of his father and carried enormous responsibility. His cultivation eventually became affected by the dangerous nature of Nie saber cultivation.

Relationships: Older brother of Nie Huaisang. Sworn brother of Lan Xichen and Jin Guangyao.

Loves: His brother, justice, his clan, discipline, and protecting innocent people.

Hates: Cowardice, manipulation, dishonesty, corruption, and weakness of character.

Nie Huaisang

Appearance: Slender, youthful-looking, usually dressed in elegant Qinghe Nie robes. Often carries a fan and appears far less threatening than his brother.

Personality: At first glance, lazy, harmless, artistic, easily frightened, and uninterested in cultivation. However, he is far more intelligent and calculating than he allows people to see.

Strength: Not particularly impressive in combat, but possesses extraordinary intelligence, observation skills, and strategic thinking.

Past: Grew up under Nie Mingjue’s shadow and was constantly pressured to become stronger. His life changed dramatically after losing his brother.

Relationships: Younger brother of Nie Mingjue; knows Lan Xichen and Jin Guangyao through their sworn-brother relationship.

Appearance: Pale, slender, gentle-looking young man with long dark hair. After becoming a fierce corpse, his appearance becomes more ghostly and frightening, despite retaining his gentle personality.

Personality: Shy, kind, nervous, loyal, and compassionate. Unlike most fierce corpses, he retains his consciousness and personality.

Strength: As the Ghost General, his physical strength becomes extraordinary. He can fight powerful cultivators and fierce corpses almost entirely through physical force.

Past: Born into the Wen Clan but never shared its cruelty. He and his sister Wen Qing were eventually caught in the consequences of the clan’s downfall. His connection with Wei Wuxian changed his fate completely and later after his death Wei Wuxian made him a Ghost General.

Relationships: Younger brother of Wen Qing. Deeply loyal to Wei Wuxian. Respected by Lan Wangji and cared for by many people despite his terrifying reputation.

Loves: His sister, Wei Wuxian, helping others, and peaceful life.

Hates: Cruelty, harming innocent people, and being unable to protect those he loves.

Wen Qing

Appearance: Beautiful, slender, with long dark hair and sharp, intelligent eyes. She usually wears the red-and-white robes of the Wen Clan and carries herself with quiet confidence.

Personality: Calm, intelligent, practical, blunt, and emotionally controlled. Unlike many members of the Wen Clan, she has a strong sense of morality and doesn’t blindly follow its cruelty. She can seem cold, but she’s deeply compassionate toward the people she cares about.

Strength: One of the best physicians in the cultivation world. Her greatest ability is medicine and healing, rather than direct combat. She’s also a capable cultivator and knows the human body extremely well.

Past: She was born into the Qishan Wen Clan and became responsible for caring for her younger brother, Wen Ning. Although she belonged to the Wen Clan, she never supported its abuse of other clans.

Relationships: Older sister of Wen Ning. She develops a close relationship with Wei Wuxian, who trusts her. She also becomes connected to Jiang Cheng and the Yunmeng Jiang Clan through the events surrounding Lotus Pier.

Loves: Wen Ning, helping people, medicine, peace, and protecting innocent members of her family.

Hates: Cruelty, unnecessary killing, arrogant Wen cultivators, and people who abuse their power.

Wen Ruohan

Appearance: Tall, imposing, with long dark hair and a severe expression. His robes reflect the powerful red-and-black style of the Wen Clan.

Personality: Extremely ambitious, intelligent, ruthless, controlling, and obsessed with power. He believes strength gives him the right to rule.

Strength: One of the most powerful cultivators of his era. His spiritual cultivation and political/military power made the Wen Clan nearly unstoppable.

Past: Rose to become the leader of the Wen Clan and attempted to bring the entire cultivation world under his control.

Relationships: Father of Wen Xu and Wen Chao. His authority dominates the entire clan.

Loves: Power, control, victory, and expanding his influence.

Hates: Disobedience, weakness, opposition, and anyone challenging his authority.

Wen Chao

Appearance: Young man with long dark hair and the distinctive red-and-white Wen robes. He usually carries himself like someone who believes his family name makes him superior to everyone else.

Personality: Arrogant, spoiled, cowardly, cruel, and entitled. Unlike powerful Wen cultivators who genuinely possess great ability, Wen Chao often relies heavily on his father’s authority.

Strength: A cultivator, but nowhere near the level of the strongest young masters from the other major clans. His greatest advantage is his position as Wen Ruohan’s son.

Past: As the son of the Wen Clan leader, he grew up surrounded by privilege and power. He participated in the Wen Clan’s campaigns against other clans and became one of the people responsible for humiliating and persecuting Wei Wuxian and others.

Relationships: Son of Wen Ruohan and brother of Wen Xu. He is associated with Wang Lingjiao, who frequently influences him.

Loves: Power, status, luxury, being obeyed, and humiliating people weaker than him.

Hates: Being challenged, losing authority, stronger opponents, and situations where his family name cannot protect him.

Wen Xu

Appearance: Tall, imposing young man with dark hair and traditional Wen robes. He has a much more serious and threatening appearance than Wen Chao.

Personality: Arrogant, aggressive, confident, and ruthless. He possesses more authority and combat ability than his younger brother.

Strength: A capable Wen cultivator and military commander. He was trusted with important operations during the Wen Clan’s expansion.

Past: As Wen Ruohan’s eldest son, he was raised to help carry the Wen Clan’s power. He participated in the clan’s attempts to suppress other cultivation families.

Relationships: Eldest son of Wen Ruohan and older brother of Wen Chao.

Loves: Power, victory, his family’s status, and proving himself worthy of his father’s expectations.

Hates: Defeat, rebellion, weakness, and anyone who refuses to submit to the Wen Clan.

Wen Zhuliu — The Core-Melting Hand

Appearance: Tall, muscular, and intimidating, with a stern expression and dark hair. He dresses in Wen Clan colors and rarely shows emotion.

Personality: Extremely quiet, obedient, disciplined, and emotionless. He isn’t needlessly talkative and follows orders without hesitation.

Strength: Extremely dangerous. His most terrifying ability is his technique known as the Core-Melting Hand, which can destroy another cultivator’s Golden Core. This makes him especially feared because losing one’s Golden Core means losing the foundation of orthodox cultivation.

Past: Originally belonged to the Wen Clan’s forces and became one of its most reliable enforcers. His loyalty to the clan made him a terrifying weapon against opposing cultivators.

Relationships: Serves the Wen family, particularly Wen Chao and Wen Ruohan. He isn’t emotionally close to them; his relationship is primarily based on loyalty and orders.

Loves: Loyalty, discipline, and following his purpose.

Hates: Disobedience and anyone interfering with his orders.

Wang Lingjiao

Appearance: Young woman with dark hair and an attractive appearance. She dresses in Wen Clan clothing and often carries herself confidently despite not being one of the clan’s strongest cultivators.

Personality: Arrogant, manipulative, jealous, spiteful, and ambitious. She knows how to flatter people above her while bullying those beneath her.

Strength: Not a top-level cultivator. Her greatest weapon is her ability to manipulate Wen Chao and influence situations through her position beside him.

Past: She rose in status by becoming close to Wen Chao and began acting as though she possessed authority over others. Her behavior during the occupation of Lotus Pier contributed to the suffering of the Jiang Clan.

Relationships: Closely associated with Wen Chao. She dislikes Wei Wuxian and the Jiang Clan.

Loves: Status, influence, Wen Chao’s attention, and feeling superior.

Hates: Being ignored, humiliation, losing control, and women she considers more beautiful or respected than herself.
